Very clean and comfortable. Good location. Was slightly disappointed with one aspect - we had booked a family room and clearly stated we were travelling with a 4 year old. We arrived and the sofa bed/extra bed was not made up so had to ask reception and wait over for bedding to be provided. Not a major issue as it was rectified but not ideal when travelling with a tired child to just needed to go to bed

Overall it's clean and the presentation of the rooms and hotel are surprisingly good. The negatives left a bad taste in terms of the quite blunt and unwelcoming manager on duty in the evening. I got the impression he's not happy in his job. Had to change rooms as they weren't set for family correctly. The rooms are nice but very hot and there is no air con. Declined to have breakfast as it was on the pricey side for a budget hotel of this type at £12, and I looked at it in the morning and it wasnt very appealing ( cheap looking sausages etc.) so glad I skipped it. Alcohol in the bar was very pricey. e.g. a small can of Campden IPA was £5.10. There is a Greggs right outside so just do that instead for breakfast and if you want alcohol you can get it from WH Smith more affordably and drink in your room. No alcohol allowed from off premises in hotel lobby. Good that parking is free.

Everything was meh. Issue is the bed felt like i was sleeping on a concrete floor it was so uncomfortable and woke up with terrible back pain! Definitely will not be back.

Due to your failure to confirm the booking at the time we made it or within a reasonable time thereafter we had made alternative arrangements and had to cancel. We asked that you send a copy of the confirmation you claimed you had sent at the time but this request was ignored. I have tried to complain about your service but it is impossible to do this. Your service is disgraceful and we shall ensure everyone we know will be made aware of this.

The room, bed, bathroom were all clean but the soft furnishings were not clean & badley marked. I had to put a towel on the arm chair before sitting on it.

Room and staff were fine, but the room was not unbearably hot even with the window open.

Comfortable beds, clean and tidy rooms with smart fresh bathroom. Lovely walk in shower. Loved that my daughter could cast a film from her iPad to the tv which made her happy. Highly recommend.

Good location just of A1M and plenty of food options good amount of space in family rooms.

Nice okay to stay for one night

Affordable nights stay, noisy night with doors banging, shame no evening meal service at hotel but next to moto so could get food in there. Could hear motorway as window open as room very hot but when shut was lovely and quiet.

Good overnight stop on the A1

This a perfect stop off point .the only fault is as the rooms have no air con ,they need to a fan in the rooms ,as you can't open the window properly.it was very uncomfortable in the room .in cooler weather not a problem

Good for overnight stays. Clean and functional and easy check-in/out; however our room (so presumably all rooms) didn't have aircon or a fan which could be a problem in warmer weather. Good, quiet parking round the back of the hotel (away from the motorway services parking).

Good night sleep Carpet in room very tired which made it look grubby.

Comfortable stay, room had everything needed and was clean enough. Room was on first floor and the room overhead I could hear the person snoring and they had very noise feet. I’d ask for a room on the second floor if I was to stay again. Didn’t eat breakfast there as found grab and go on the services for much cheaper.
