I should have read more reviews. Walking in the hotel smelled a little weird thought it was just a cleaning chemical that my nose was sensitive to. But when I walked into our room, it smells like roach poop. I’m not sure if anyone knows what that smells like. But if you’ve lived or visited anyone that was infested with roaches. Their cabinets would smell like that. There was roaches in our room. When I went to speak to the front desk. I told him what was going on. And instead of him helping me. He was looking behind me watching TV once he was done then he spoke to me. I said a couple more words. And his eyes went back to the TV. And I had to wait for a response because he was still watching TV. They offered me to change rooms. Told him no thanks if there’s one roach there will be more. And I do not want to take roaches home in my luggage. I booked for two nights. Only stayed for one. The hotel did not refund me for the one night I didn’t stay.

The staff was very sweet and attentive especially the young lady and the older lady who worked the front desk both amazing and very sweet. I will definitiely stay here again. Thank you for an amazng experience!!

Easy check-in and out. Kitchen was clean, and with all utensils was nice. Pool was clean. Beds were comfortable. If we were staying longer, I'd have liked to use the gas grills.

Spent the weekend at Candlewood. All things considered we had a decent uninterrupted stay. Only comment would be they need some interior remodels. Carpet is address and a little musty smelling. Personnel at the counter we're helpful, friendly.

Very attentive and friendly desk clerk at both check in and check out. Price is on the high side considering condition of room we had(302). Cabinetry was in poor condition and carpet needed thorough cleaning or replacing. The a/c wasn't working properly and the room was extremely humid but at least it was cool enough. The mattresses (and pillows) were medium firmness and my wife and I found both of the beds quite comfortable. We stayed here because we brought out small dog and the charge was reasonable at $25,compared to the competition charging $75. I hope they spend some money to improve the facilities a bit and we will consider staying here again. Thank you to Elizabeth and the rest of the kind staff.

Everything was great except I reserved and paid for a queen bed room for my husband and myself, I got a room with 2 doubles. I was ok with the extra sleeping space of my own bed, my husband got over it!
AC worked great!!! We love to sleep inva room that's very cold and this one was perfect.

Right off of hiway, close to many good eateries & shops. Quick check-in. Room away from road, on top floor. Minimal but convenient kitchenette amenities, but useful. Small flatscreen tv; satellite reception failed during severe weather events. Noisy AC & fridge compressor took turns waking me up. Poor queen matress quality. Could have used more towels in-room. Very large hailstorm during stay—i went to ground floor for my own perceived safety.

The common areas are beyond hot and have a mildew smell the elevators and rooms have a unpleasant smell,the furniture and fixtures are in disrepair

When we checked in the lady at the front desk was so friendly. Very appreciated!! However our room smelled so bad. It had mold/mildew odor. I literally had a headache the next morning. The cards to open our room did not work. We were told the door was dying. Will not stay here again. Not the environment I was expecting at a Candlewood Suites. Very disappointed

Laundry was wonderful. Being able to stay, and make sure things are clean and ready for whatever events you have planned in the area. (lots todo in the vicinity). I would recommend it.

This is an older property. I would check out if something else was available. There is stuff on walls, ac unit fell off when trying to turn on. Definitely would not recommend.

Room was nice. Had a small kitchen area snd a full size refrigerator. Bed was comfortable but the pillows went flat and hard after about 10 minutes. The bathroom was clean. The pnly complaint sbout the bathroom was that the shower curtain didnt have any magnets at the bottom to keep the shower curtain from wanting to cling to you.

Property is a bit worn but nothing that prevents a great night’s stay.
We were happy with it for our basic needs - which were to get restful sleep, a hot shower and a place to be convenient launching & landing point for various activities in the area. Very near to so many restaurants & tourist activities.
My only frustration was our key card randomly de-activated twice during our stay. It was frustrating and inconvenient to go get it reactivated twice…especially when we had full hands trying to get the door open to our room.
Otherwise, I’d highly recommend it for those needing an affordable place to stay in a highly utilized area that is safe, clean & a great place for the basics. No frills. Just the essentials.
