Booked a twin room with a/c. Room on 6th floor, elevator to door which was great. The room was so tiny we couldn’t walk in it, and the bed a small double pushed against the door. Decorated nicely. Small balcony, fine. Tiny awkward bathroom which remain wet during our stay. Air con did not function. Room stayed like a sauna and it was hot temps outside. Wouldn’t recommend and it wasn’t worth paying for. Pool area was full of silly teenagers larking about and swearing with no adult present. Outdoor areas need attention and maintaining

It’s an okay hotel, room was good but bathroom needs some updating the shower was tiny and little grubby. Apart from that nice hotel helpful staff. Had to pay for WiFi which then didn’t have the best connection either.

Would only stay here for a one night thing. Full of young people and couples

The staff were very friendly, helpful and always with a smile..! The room was clean and tidy..! The location is really good in walking distance to the center, cafes, restaurants to the old town and close to the sea..!

This hotel has a very professional and accomodating staff, a good location, overall a very good place to stay.

Our ferry was very late getting to Rhodes. We finally got to the hotel to learn that they had given our room away. To the hotels credit, they did find us another room elsewhere, and paid for our cab fare.

this hotel is in a good location for the beach and only 15 mins walk to the old town. this hotel attracts quite a few younger holidaymakers. although it was not as bad as expected when i arrived i did hear people making noise early hours of the morning during my stay. if u value quiet probably not for you. Air con in the room smelt really bad when on so i kept it turned off which meant it got quite hot in room. i thought it was very poor to charge for wifi.

We just wanted somewhere to stay before catching the ferry to Santorini. I could not fault the service and although the room wasnt that big, it was fine for our requirements. We walked from the ferry to the hotel on our day of arrival. This is a family run hotel and the service was exceptional. Its only a quick walk to town and we had no issues with that as we are happy to walk. Would stay again.

The hotel is in a nice location. near the sea, walk one direction along the seafront for lovely empty beaches, the other direction for to the old town and tourist beaches with wifi. Easy to get to by bus from the airport. (OK I had a pre-microsoft Nokia N8 with GPS with me, so that helped, but would have been OK with printed maps). My room was a little shabby, and the shower flooded the floor in the bathroom which didn't drain properly. And it was badly placed for the sun. However, for what I paid I was well happy. Had I paid the full whack for it, then I would not have been. But presumably, the cheap deals are offered on the lower quality rooms.

Good hotel, good location, nice staff, clean comfy rooms. They opened the bar just for us as we arrived late and also cooked us a couple of pizzas even though the kitchen was closed! Also a 12pm checkout! Will stay again. Easy to find and about ten minutes drive from the airport.

The location is also literally a stones throw away from the beach, and a 10 minute walk to Old Town Rhodes. The reception staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive and helpful with planning excursions. I also received a pleasant surprise when I walked in the room in the evening and found a complimentary bottle of wine on the table. Its small touches like these that made my stay memorable. The internet charge of EUR 3/= for 24 hours for access in the basement of the hotel itself was also great value - however, if I were to make one suggestion, it would be that the room where the computers are located should be air-conditioned or fan-cooled as it can get hot from the computers running.

For a 2 star rated hotel, the Parthenon is very comfortable & clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly & efficient & are always happy to help. The shower in the room is a litle small & water often covers the floor, however, the room service make a good job of cleaning the room each day. The hotel is also very well positioned for the bus so to & from th airport which is an added advantage.

Very excited about the pool, could have stayed there longer if we had looked into it better. Lovely customer service.

The hotel was satisfactory. The staff was quite friendly and the hotel is in a convenient location not far from the beach and within decent walking distance of Old Town. They offer amenities to travelers (free room service offering quite a range of items) and maps of the city. The room had a nice flat screen tv, however neither TV nor internet were working in the hotel. The only reason I cared was that there were rolling strikes (air traffic controllers, taxi drivers,...) and I had hoped to be able to use the internet or tv to stay updated. (In fact, my flight the next day ended up being canceled due to strikes). My main complaint would be that the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

Cold reception from staff on arrival. Internet was not free and after buying 24 hours it didnt work very well at all. Money was refunded. Unfortunately, there was a taxi strike on our check out day. I heard from other tourists that their hotels arranged alternative transport for their guests, but Parthenon's limit of assistance was to point us to the bus stop with all our luggage. I would not recommend this hotel.

Arrived at hotel with some reservations having read reviews, but firts impressions were good, nice bar/lobby with friendly helpful staff. Lift to rooms small but worked well. Room an OK size and was obviously very nice, once in the past, flaking paint on walls and ceiling from a previous water leak and a tatty bathroom with a broken toilet seat. Having said that it was clean with a big balcony and sea view. The toilet seat was fixed the next day. Room came with a 14" old TV which we didn't watch anyway a fridge and aircon. The aircon was on its last legs and didn't make much of an impact on the temperature, had we been there longer we would have complained about this. Also the power only worked when you were in the room and inserted a special card/key into a slot, this is fine for lights etc. but no use for the fridge which also turned off when you left the room! Pool area was pleasant, water was quite cool even in late August but it was a decent size and a nice area to chill out in. Breakfast was OK, continental/greek buffet, just as expected. Location was great, 10 mins walk from the Old Town, 2 mins from the waterfront and 5 mins from the main nightlife whilst being on a quiet street. Having said that most guests were youngish travellers and made some noise returning in the early hours. The bar area was stylish with great cocktails at reasonable prices. For the low price per night for 2 adults and a toddler, the place may have had its faults but represented excellent value and we'd stay again.

Easy to find, close to a beach and one main bus station, quite a central location not far from main attractions, cafes, restaurants etc (within 10-15 minutes of walking distance). The room is ok but bathroom was quite old. Take your own towels as to the towels were quite dirty and smelly. Be careful when deciding a hotel in that area since some streets do resemble more of a disco. Breakfast was ok.

all the staff was friendly and the swimming pool is clean :)
