Only issue was dining was very slow. Under staffed for amount customers

The food menu was awful. There were only a few choices for meals - which very rapidly became boring. Above the restaurant ceiling there is a plywood floor and people walking there made noise loud enough to disturb the dining experience The room prices and food prices were too high, considering the very average quality that was provided in each case. The facility is billed as a resort, but there are limited opportunities for fun activities besides the golf course and the indoor pool. The Owners should develop boat activities on the beautiful Bras D'Or Lakes which abut the property. Surely fishing, and exploring by boat would appeal to many potential guests.

I did rented a one bedroom cottage there . Beautiful place amazing views and spotless surroundings. The cottage itself wasn’t properly clean , after getting on one unit I had to be moved because lights did not work and it was very dusty. Next cottage was horrible smelly like mouse urine as if no one freshly wash floors or surfaces. The washroom was very clean but towels were very hard to use as if they were not washed recently. The cottage deck area wasn’t clean it had a tomato slice on the stair and some dirt around. The room cleaning services is not offered unless you as a day ahead and the toiletries are not replaced unless you ask and been a cottage takes time and is inconvenient to have to walk all the way down to the office to get what you need. The receptionists are very friendly and understanding and had refunded me a pet fee that I was charged as I noted the poor cleaning and I had to clean myself all the time as just once I requested towels and were not even replaced that only time I asked on 4 nights stay. I also must say as I forgot to mention to the staff that the beds were the most uncomfortable beds ever. The mattress are so old that use metal springs …. Horrible nights so I slept on the couch most of the time. The place is beatiful but cleaning and uncomfortable beds are not going to make you stay unforgettable.

Beautiful property and grounds. We arrived near the end of season and after a heavy rain so the golf course wasn't opened. The meals were great and the staff more than friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

The resort was impressive when driving in. Rooms need to have a good deep cleaning especially the washroom. Needs to have a bit of an upgrade.

Room was large and clean but smelled musty. We were not told at front desk we needed reservations for dinner and had to eat late. We did have a great waitress.

The bed & pillows were so comfortable. I stayed in 2 different rooms during my stay because I had the most relaxing sleep after the 1st night, & both rooms were very clean & quiet, with the best bedding of my week & a half road trip staying at numerous different hotels. The staff were also super friendly & helpful.

The resort is a bit out of the way, meaning that dining options lie mostly at the hotel. Happily, we really enjoyed our meals and were very content to eat there with the dining room’s lovely views to accompany dinner.

This place is absolutely beautiful.Will definitely stay there again.Thank you.

It is a great place to get away for the weekend. Good location to escape city life. Plus you can take your dog and kids!

The property is beautiful and beautifully kept! The staff are very pleasant and most patient giving driving directions, repeatedly...lol...The room I had could really use a new mattress on the bed on the left, although I could've tried the other bed for the second night. I did take the bathtub plug to the front desk because it really needed to be replaced!! I couldn't use it!The desk clerk said she'd definitely give it to the Housekeeing Manager. I was surprised at the couple checking in after me, that they had to carry their luggage upstairs (lots of steps) without being helped. I did carry one up for them but I'm a senior as well... They were offered a room on the main floor instead, but declined. Bottom line is that I'd likely stay again because the price of my room, in the main building, was affordable.

Nice place to stay. We were just disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not in service.

Room was huge and comfortable. Restaurant was a bit iffy. Staff was accommodating and friendly though Covid limited their presence in the room.

Staff adequate except at breakfast. beautiful course and resort. hours very wonky. bring snacks if you are there for more than a day.

Our room was extra spacious, very clean with a limited view of Bras d’Or Lake. King-size bed was very comfortable, but both pillows too thick for my liking for sleeping; excellent as backrest for reading. Great meal at their restaurant at a table overlooking the lake. Bonus live music during dinner which enhanced the evening. (Was a Saturday night.) Enjoyed the pool which we had to ourselves for a time, which almost never happens. The pool area is tired and the hot tub was out of order and covered with plywood. No complementary breakfast and there doesn’t seem to be other nearby options, but we are from out of province and not familiar with the area.

The rooms were clean and the views from the rooms were gorgeous. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was great.

It was a beautiful location overlooking the lake. We liked the free rentals of kayaks and having the option of an indoor and outdoor pool to choose from. The mini golf was too busy to try. Restaurant was good, but fish was very greasy. The hotel room was dated, beds were squeaky, and the bathroom needed a new sink. Overall, nice place to stay with the kids, with lots to do with them. Would try the cottages and a round of golf next time.

We choose this spot because of the lake access with canoes. We were unable to use due to the rainy weather from the time we got there until we left. Could not get the TV to work or anyone to help us. Front desk was not helpful in any sort of way and quite rude. Cabin had a horrible smell in it that made us nauseous. Had to clean the place down and bring in car deodorizer to try and get rid of it. Tried to go to St Peters, drove what felt like 45 min only to get to a bridge out and had to turn around. I now understand way back before you get to the resort there is a detour sign on the road, but what traveler would put the two and two together without knowing the area. Would have been a fabulous curtesy to have some sort of note in the room. Along with things to do near by. Also think breakfast should have a menu and not just buffet. 3 kids and I, cost $90 and we hardly ate..

The rooms were too warm and outside of windows were very dirty

We went to the Dundee Resort & Golf Club for our Silver Anniversary as we had held our wedding reception there 25 years ago. We very much appreciated the comfort of the room and the panoramic view of the Bras D’Or Lake. The staff were extremely accommodating and gracious and ensured that we had an extra special and enjoyable stay for our anniversary. The food at the restaurant on-site was delicious and again, staff were very helpful and pleasant. We are planning a return visit for a longer stay next year! Well done Dundee Resort and Golf Club!

A great location in a quiet location overlooking Bras D'or lake. Friendly staff. Breakfast was a little pricey so opted to eat off site. Nice Pool, Rooms upstairs have no elevator but for us that wasn't an issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
