I like this hotel. My junior suite on the 6th floor was really lovely. However the electronic controls were somewhat confusing and some panels did not work. The cleaning was ok but not spotless. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again.

Great location. 6 night stay. A/C not working. Room exceedingly hot. Bed was very uncomfortable. Room was small with unmarked elevation changes. Cleaning crew was understaffed. Breakfast was ok. Mismanaged. A few caring staff. The vast majority were rude and dismissive.

My daughter and I had a 4 night stay in this lovely hotel. The welcome in reception was good, especially after a delayed flight. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable with a sitting area and more mirrors than anyone could possibly need! The bathroom was very clean, the shower was effective and didn't result in wet floors and towels every time it was used. The free mini- bar was excellent; water (replenished daily), juice, coke and beer. Extra touches like fruit and sweets in the room on arrival was lovely. Probably our only issue was that the air conditioning didn't seem very efficient. The room was very sound proof - despite being right next to the lift, we heard nothing from this or other rooms. The location of the hotel is excellent; our view was over the Viktualienmarkt and this is so close to Marienplatz and excellent shopping and so many places to visit. If we are ever in Munich again, I will certainly be staying here again.

My family and myself all very much enjoyed our stay at the Living Hotel. The location is excellent, right across the street from the marketplace and easily walkable to Marienplatz/shopping/restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and even took the time to help my parents with locating their lost bag from an airline! The rooms were very nice as well :)

We booked in August when we know it can be warm. The first thing I look for is Air Conditioning. When the arrived the room temperature was mid 30s. We were told the technician would look at AC. Then the fridge wasn't working so the mini bar they offer was useless as drinks were roasting. To top it all off the warm water didn't work. We were offered a new room our last night at 11pm.... Absolutely useless. Staff were apologetic but this hotel is not cheap. It DOES NOT have Air Conditioning and the staff admitted same. Ruined our whole trip. We travel often and I've never left a poor review on any hotel. Stay clear of it.

The location absolutely can't be beat. Nice size rooms and good amenities. I'll be honest....the hotel experience did start with a few issues. But the Reservation Manager immediately communicated with me and my family what he was able to do to help. What could have been a terrible experience, he went above and beyond to make things right. I recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The property was centrally located and walkable to everything. The market was just across the street and an excellent place to grab something to eat. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had been without our bag for 8 days and they went above and beyond to help us try to locate it. We recommend this property and would happily stay here again.

The only lift was broken and the desk officer forgot to bring our luggage up to the 3rd floor. The air condition was broken, just on a very hot day, and it was nearly impossible to sleep because it was so hot.

This was the worst experience I had in the blistering heat, non working air conditioning. Staff were not helpful and refuse to either move me to a different room, provide a fan or let me cancel my booking. I paid a huge some for this stay and it wast not worth staying here. Whilst I can understand that things can go wrong, the team can make it bearable by making it comfortable in some way and treat people like they are human. This was not the case. My issue was completely ignore. Sorry is not enought. A mistake should be corrected. This was not the case in this hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Amazingly close to everything! Only one issue : the sound of the AC…

Everything was great. Except we were not advised of construction and it was noisy at times and also we had to take a long detour to get to our room. The construction started the second morning so basically our entire trip. We had a long way out with our suitcases and had to use the stairs which was an inconvenience. The room was lovely. Breakfast was good too.

It's an excellent venue in Munich, close to the City, next to the Vikualienmarkt with its unique atmosphere, good value for the price. Parking is an issue, however. Nearby Schrannenhalle garage is pricy and no special rate for hotel guests. Overall to be recommended (and we've ben there man times)

The air conditioning isn’t true air conditioning. We had to request a fan as it was hot during our stay and leaving windows open on the busy street outside the market was not feasible. Also, they say they have free laundry facilities (it says this on their actual website as well) where you can do your own laundry, however, we were told two different stories, 1) that the laundry was broken and 2) that it was no longer available for guest use. For a 4 star hotel of that price, we were disappointed. The staff is friendly but no one seemed to have the same information. Parking at the garage nearby is a bit difficult to find, but was close by once we did find it.

The air conditioning simply did not work. The staff were friendly and proactive enough to put in a fan, and then a portable A/C the next day, but the latter required an open window into a noisy street. The lighting was terrible, the light switches even more non-intuitive - walk to the bathroom, there is no light switch - it’s by the bedside!!! Staff said the A/C problem was not solvable.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, close to all attractions and shopping, hotel in a very clean and good condition.

We had a Junior Suite which was a long mini apartment under the roof eaves looking out over smaller adjoining buildings. Very quiet, had a microwave, a kitchen area with a table and chairs and a light sink. Very spacious and modern, all lights can be controlled from a touch pad part of the bed itself. The property is directly facing a lively vendor marketplace selling fruits, vegetables, soups, sandwiches and many other items. There’s of course a small Biergarten. It’s basically almost in the Old Town pedestrian zone, so convenient to a couple train stations. No need to take a taxi if arriving at Hauptbahnhof. The only things we didn’t like: 1) our room’s bathroom was separated from the living area by a glass wall not nearly opaque enough. And the toilet is adjacent that glass. It absolutely needs a privacy shade! And 2) the lobby bar though decently stocked, was not allowed to make any cocktail not specifically listed on a menu. And a martini didn’t make the list. So had to go out in the rain to one of the other places down the street. At least they had loaner umbrellas.

We stayed here twice on our trip, and we felt like family almost immediately. The front desk staff were wonderful, Josh made mom and I feel like family. Martina and Inga in the dining room were lovely as well. It’s close to everything, and there’s a wonderful restaurant across the street that served the most amazing white asparagus. I highly recommend this hotel. And don’t forget to try the pretzels!

Excellent location 5 min walk to Marienplatz and subway/trains. Really only 2 issues and they are common ones when traveling in Europe. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, caused issues with my back (60 yrs old). Also room got hot at night as you couldn't adjust the temperature below a certain point. Otherwise a great place to stay!
