Good hotel, reasonable price & central location. Rooms clean & comfortable.
Only small issue was the hotel was quite busy with people checking in & only one person working so had to wait a bit to get served a drink. No big deal though and would stay again.

Good location, very central, shops near by and the beach is a short walk away.
Friendly staff are there 24/7, easy check in and out.
Bed was average but comfortable, the bedframe was gross, it needs a clean with fabric cleanser as quite alot of dirt.
No hot water in the room, hot tap did not work and the hot shower only worked on the first night then refused to heat up again, so had to have a lukewarm shower which was not great after coming in from tbe cold winter weather and rain.
I was not a fan of the eco toliet paper as it smelt like cheese, good on them though.
Shampoo and body wash are provided in the room, a bath mat, towels and a hairdryer.
Good choice of Tv channels, some brainrot but still good.
The room was nice and quiet, although that really depends on which room you get as ive heard it can be noisy in others. To be fair we came during the week so I can imagine it is not so great on weekends. I can not comment on the sound proofing as the hotel was not busy at the time.
I liked the blackout curtains and extra pillow they provided, I had a pretty good sleep, though my boyfriend disagrees.
The room decor could do wirh an update as dated and worn.
We did not get food there as very expensive per person, we think overpriced for what you get, also £15 for a hotel pizza is very steep, sorry.
Doors are not open all night, doors lock at 5am, so keep in mind.

Super friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Had a small issue with lightning in the bathroom - spoke to reception - sorted in ten minutes. Room made up each day too. My first Ibis experience will not be my last.

Reception staff was very rude when tried to book telling us their was no rooms when clearly was as was advertised in hotels.com

Good location. Slightly later check out at 12 was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negative was could do with new pillows and could hear tv from next room, thin walls!

Was a lovely building, clean, and staff were very friendly. Bed was much too firm though; was hard to get comfortable and stay asleep, and i woke up sore each morning. There was a foam topper on the bed but it didnt help much.

Location was central and staff were friendly and helpful. For budget accomodation it was clean and offered everything needed, the bed was so cumfy! Breakfast offered was good and affordable with great variety. Only issue was parking, the parking station is next to Ibis which is very convenient at a reduced rate of £12 but there is no lift and corners are tight even for a small car. The parking issue was the only thing that took away from a perfect rating, BUT in fairness that is not the fault of the Ibis hotel.

We came in by train…..could see the hotel from the train station and with a late arrival and limited taxis we walked the well lit streets 5 minutes to the hotel.
The location is super…..close to the core of the city. We were one block from the information Center….one block to numerous restaurants. Across the street from an amazing museum…..and free to boot.
The neighborhood felt safe….but we are it night hawks.
Used the restaurant for breakfast….not included in price. The buffet however not too fresh and for 15 pounds a person we used only once. Lots of other choices within a block.
The hotel is cashless which was new for us. When using the bar for the occasional drink we had to pay after each order….no tab allowed. I guess this system works…..we just need to get over the concept.

Place is kind of a dump. HVAC is odd, it wont work if its cooler outside so if you dont want to broil you have to open the window. Open the window and its loud. Breakfast is not very good. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I had a room over looking the harbour and spent a lot of time just watching the boats. The shower was excellent annd probably better than the one I have at home. I was genuinely impressed with my experience at the ibis. I didn’t eat in though as £12 for breakfast was too expensive in my eyes. One negative, twice my door card didn’t work after a long day out sightseeing, it would let you up in the lift, but then refuse to let you into the room. It was frustrating having to go back down to reception, queue to be served and be told to keep the card away from my phone, it was no where near my phone!!! Location was brilliant for all local amenities, and not once was I disturbed by any noise from inside the hotel. I’d definitely stay there again.

My partner and I only stayed one night. We could not see spending a week in this hotel. It would have ruined our trip. So we went to stay in a nearby hotel and boy what a difference! We had the best time at the new hotel. Now the staff at ibis was nice for the brief time we were there, but I did not feel comfortable using the bathroom, being in the bed, just taking my stuff out my suitcase. It is not the worst hotel. And may be good for a night or two or for younger people. But it just was not for us.
