Absolutely loved our stay view from the room was beautiful unit a little old with an interesting shower/spa but very clean and location was amazing only negative was no wifi but with the easy walk to the cafes and boat club we didn’t need wifi All staff super friendly We will be back Thank you for a great week break free

This property is inhabited by what looks like a mix of permanent/semi permanent resident retirees on the one hand and tourists on the other. We found it a mixed experience: the apartment was not very comfortable with cheap furniture and fittings throughout and truly awful fluro lighting. Incredibly, there is NO wifi. In this day and age??? Compounding this problem is that the 4g signal was barely there. So no Netflix streaming etc on your device. There was a DVD player with some unwatchable, dated dvds. But the remote didn't work! The 'kitchen' was very poor - basic, with one hotplate. The mattress was cheap but ok but the blankets supplied were woefully inadequate. Lastly, I had plugged in my Tesla electric car into the 10 amp socket on the back wall of our allocated car space to simply maintain the basic functionality of the car, but someone in their wisdom decided to switch off the outlet for some inexplicable reason. Not a good feeling to have your vehicle interfered with by, presumably, a resident trying to save electricity or a groundperson for reasons I can't begin to understand. On the positive side, the location is excellent for whale watching trips and there was a view of the ocean and beach access. A generous 2 stars out of 5.

Everything was fine, except the fact that wifi is not offered at all. No option to even pay for wifi. It felt like we were back in the 1990s when the internet was a luxury and most people did not have access to it. This not made explicit in the description of the property.

Receptionist was amazing explaining where transport, shops, local attractions etc were. Property clean quite and relaxing overlooking beach and pool

Looking a little older these days, but still a nice place to stay and enjoy Hervey Bay.

Cleanliness was great. Just disappointed no WiFi and a problem with the lock on the gate near the pool ..not able to get access to the beach.

Great view of Fraser Island, quiet and peaceful. Pool was nice after a game of tennis. Place needs some freshing up as it shows signs of its age.

Would have liked wifi without having to pay $200 deposit but pretty good to a while to find the dishwashing liquid was not obvious , but great place to stay other wise close to the boat club for cruises and nice food

Cathy at reception was friendly, helpful and welcoming and attended to any problems or needs quickly and efficiently. We had a few maintenence issues and the maintenence team arrived promptly and immediately resolved all 3 problems. They were also friendly and helpful.

Didn't like that the air con wasn't on before we got there and the only air con is in the lounge room. We had to drag the mattress out to the lounge room floor to try and get some sleep with the unit being so hot

Excellent views & close to everything. I wasn’t a fan of the tight parking though.

Unit was clean and tidy, everything was nice. If I had to be picky, the blinds didn’t shut properly and 2 of the bedrooms had pedestals fans - I thought the unit was air conditioned through out which made it quite warm. But overall enjoyed the stay and view

Place was at a good location but very dirty and much need of some love

Enjoyed a 3 night stay in a 1 bedroom unit on the first floor, good views across the water to the islands. Comfortable bed although the rooms are a little tired and could do with a revamp, couch was pretty uncomfortable for sitting. Fan in the bedroom did not work properly and alerted the manager to this. Also tripped the electricity because we were running the aircon, then put on the washing machine and toaster at the same time. Location wise whilst it is not in the hustle and bustle of the Esplanade, it was perfect for what we wanted being nice and quiet and almost with private beachfront. 2 onsite pools were also enjoyable and meant that neither was overcrowded at any time. Overall a good stay!

Unit was clean, but carpet smelt disgusting. All furniture etc extremely dated, old and uncomfortable. Staff friendly. Left a day early due to the negative aspects.

Unit was nice with comfy beds and lots of doors for cross breezes. Views to mains lovely. Area around marina not great with no local shop for even buying drinks or bread. Car needed. Dining around facility very limited. Constant walking up and down stairs to unit. Not enough Sun lounges around pool.

Wonderful location, back of property is facing beach, it appears that all units have ocean views. Walking distance to number of local attractions including pier, marina and various restaurants and cafes. The unit itself was not in a best condition and would benefit from renovation/makeover.

The resort is run down and in dire need of maintenance. Basic things like guttering missing from the building, filthy/smelly carpet in the stairwell that doesn’t look like its ever been cleaned, a tennis court covered in debris, bushes/trees and closed indefinitely. The resort website and brochure mentions a children’s playground but there isn’t one - only a patch of dirt under a shade sale. The games room is actually a dusty second hand book library with a toilet, sink, old lounge chairs and a very very old ping pong table with no equipment. The sauna looks like it hasn’t been used in over a decade. Half of the boardwalk by the marina is closed off. The room was a bit better with great views and renovated within last 5 years or so, but there was hair on the ensuite vanity and a spare blanket in the cupcoard was absolutely filthy - covered in hair, stains and particles. We couldn’t use it. The nearby marina and restsurants were what saved this place for us. We would not stay here again until major inprovements and basic maintenance is made. Was not worth the $.

Loved the tranquil setting overlooking the most beautiful ocean views. The unit was amazing, we were very comfortable and happy with our stay.

Overall the property was good value for money. A few minor issues with the unit eg fans not working & dirty blankets. Generally a clean bright unit though. Woken up by tradies outside before 7am 2 days in a row. Great location if you love to walk long distances (thumbs up for me) but if not you’ll need to drive everywhere.

Nice position and close to boat harbour, walking distance to bus stop and pier. Bike paths outside the complex. 3 bed family unit was good in size. Beds were not comfortable. Worst I've ever encountered travelling Australia and the world. Cleanliness was average with previous guests belongings under a bed. Hair in the bathtub. Individually owned units, owners obviously don't fix broken items. Garage light broken and needs replacing. Screen door to beachside screeching during use, needs new rollers. Locks loose on sliding glass door.Light bulbs were missing in bedroom lamp and light not working in courtyard to garage. 1 TV remote batteries flat. Maintenance people were quick to sort those issues that they could when notified. Microwave screeching when starting to heat. Ensuite shower screen not functioning properly and needs replacing. Very uncomfortable stay for seniors. Staff and reception were great.

Lovely views over ocean. Quiet. Close to marina and plenty of restaurants Good value. Good pick up area for organised trips. Arrived late in evening unfortunately no milk for cuppa Would definately stay again.
