I’m from Ecuador and I have lived in the US for 20 years. I never have experience a poor customer service and in safety as this hotel has provided to me. The front desk was extremely rude could not answer questions and when asked for a manager, they will refuse to give you the name of the manager, the front desk representative will not give his name neither making you feel as if their people are hiding who they are. Extreamely weird situation ann unsafe! I felt extremely unsafe. A manager did not show up until mid day and could not fix the situation stating they because I made the reservation through Travelocity they couldn’t help me. Travelocity could not do anything neither they just take the money and pretty much cannot fix any issues. DO NOT… trully DO NOT stay in this hotel if you want to be safe and have good service run away from the Holiday Inn in Guayaquil.

We stayed here for quick night during layover for our flight to Galapagos. The airport shuttle was convenient and waiting for us at 1:00am. Room was nice with comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing!

Great place to stay right near the Guayaquil Airport. They had lots of security so we felt safe when we arrived. The area around the airport is probably not a place where you want to walk around if you are not from Ecuador.

The hotel restaurant had an entree that was so delicious. It was called Creole Chicken Stew.
For dessert, the Passion Fruit Cheesecake was out of this world.
The staff treated me to the rewards member floor, which was a special gesture. The beds are so comfortable. The room was extremely clean.
The shuttle, roundtrip to the airport, was efficient, professional and courteous.
I highly recommend this hotel!

It was just an overnight stop, so I wanted somewhere clean and safe and close to the airport with good food. This hotel was just right. There was not much around the hotel which was ok as I didn’t need any.

my room was upgraded to a suite! everybody is very professional and friendly. the room was clean, everything was perfect. Great location next to the airport. The shuttle service is very convenient. Excellent hotel!

Airport shuttle was at the airport waiting even though our flight was an hour late. Check in was quick and easy which was great give that it was almost midnight. The breakfast awesome. Location is across the street from the airport. We will stay again.

This a terrific airport hotel. The only reason for the average rating asking about the area around the property is because it’s an airport hotel. Otherwise it exceeded expectations as to staff, design, service and amenities. Highly recommended.
