The hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast wasn't the best. The main problem we had was when the doors of other rooms would shut or they would shower or flush. We heard them in our in our room as if the door was open, but it was a nice stay for the night.

Services were not as provided in Ad on Hotels.com: Pool and restaurant. Overall condition was good, and I admit I got a great rate, but I wish the Hotels.com Ad would have been more accurate.

Beautiful building that appears to be currently renovated and updated. Friendly staff and easy checkin. Easy access as well and ample parking. The room was very clean. Excellent price. The room had an essential oil smell that was very strong. The breakfast was a bit overcooked. The pool was nice and our daughter enjoyed it. The room was not well sound proofed and you could here the neighbor using the bathroom as well as shutting their door. Overall, a decent place to stay for one night.

Booked this place for the pool and the two days we are there the pool is closed and they never told us when we checked in. If I would have known the pool was gonna be closed I would have went somewhere else The shower leaked severely

Very interesting building and the furnishings straight up reminded us of being at the Haunted Mansion at Disney. The people were all nice the the breakfast was pretty decent. The hot tub was large and hot, but not as clean as it could have been. It was closed for maintenance the next morning, so perhaps it was being cleaned. Considering it was on the less expensive side, we got what we paid for.

Wife and I stayed 5 days and 4 nights. We love this hotel. The beds are always so comfy and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is amazing. Highly recommend! The only thing I’d recommend is maybe bring your own blanket. They had the ones with the weird texture and we were not a fan.

Honestly it wasn’t that bad. I’m just upset about some of the visitors. We went Halloween weekend for a wrestling tournament. Somebody brought their dog and left it in the hotel while they went out to party (I’m assuming). The dog was howling and yelping from 9pm -at least 1am. We weren’t there long enough to appreciate the rest the hotel had to offer. I will say the staff was extremely nice on check in. Just that dog ruined our night.

Very nice hotel...front desk help was very friendly... pool and hot tub were nice... very clean, ample lighting, safe area, nice breakfast, great parking...minor comment on shower pressure, but when I adjusted the spout drain, it was fine (minor, minor maintenance issue) Very impressed with the Chateau decor... When I return to Bloomington, I will be staying here!!!

We stayed at the Chateau Hotel while in town to see friends and family. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the cost for 4 nights was very reasonable. The breakfast offered in the morning was very good too!

Miscommunication about room number sent us up and down multiple times. Room was not clean. Cigarette burns on blacker and bathroom counter. Corners of bathroom and back of bathroom door dirty and smeared. Toilet did not flush. (Had to open back to pull up flange.). Overall not a comfy stay.

When we check in everything was great until the time we checked out. One of the lady's in the front desk was rude and we were stuck in the elevator for a good 20 minutes or more. I'm never coming back.

When we checked in hotel had 1 elevator working. Took a while to get to your room. Only way to the pool was by elevator. Room was clean and spacious but windows didn’t open on 5 th floor. Need to update the was outlet s to accommodate usb charging. Breakfast was okay one recommendations would be don’t place banana bread mix for waffles next to the original am highly l allergic to bananas and then I couldn’t eat the waffles because it also was used with the banana bread mix. Pool was nice but when we left this Sunday pool water was cold and hot tub was out of order so we checked out early. And upon leaving we got stuck again in the elevator. If you fix these things things we will definitely come back beautiful building and and landscaping is beautiful, staff are really nice and housekeeping might need to not use so much bleach cleaning it was strong with every room cleaning at once the floor smelled like bleach and hard to breathe.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. For the money it is great. Rooms are okay, breakfast is good. Overall is an excellent value for the money.

The pillows were too soft. All of them. Hotels usually have options. The gym is a nice amenity but could use heavier kettlebells. The free breakfast is good. The rooms could use more outlets at the nightstand and desk.

Stay was good, however the room next to us had a dog that barked a lot and woke us up. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great!

Great location, wonderful hot tub, nice breakfast and pleasing atmosphere. Nice to stay someplace that is not a chain. Just bring your own bath towels, and there is no place to sit outside in the nice weather.

Stay was okay, but the morning breakfast was very poor compared to other hotels.

Walls are thin, I could hear conversations from both side rooms and anyone walking by in the hallway. Our neighbors were loud, I had to keep the tv on the entire night just so I wouldn’t have to hear them. I checked out a day early because I just couldn’t take another night. The check in staff was nice

Room was adequate for the price. Mattress was way too soft. Hotel is outdated. TV was extremely difficult to figure out.

The only problem I had during my stay here was fighting with my husband over the temperature in the room!! 😂 This was my second time staying here but the first time with my hubby. We loved all the statues in the lobby and out in the courtyard! Last time I was here I couldn't find the controls for the hot tub but hubby found them for us this time! The sauna, the pool, the hot tub... absolute pampering!

I had to go to the front desk 3 times to fix a check-in error made by the hotel staff. I booked 2 premium rooms, but was given one standard room and one premium room. In addition, I realized that I was charged MORE for the standard room than the premium rate! This was the attendant's ERROR for giving me one of the rooms that I booked, and a room that was booked for a different guest who had the same last name as me. *When I first went down to have it corrected, the attendant "thought it was settled" by now charging me for 2 premium rooms, but still giving us one only premium and one standard room. After waiting forever, I was so frustrated with his inability to fix the problem that I went upstairs. *When I went down the 3rd time, he acted frustrated WITH ME because I was asking again to have my bill corrected to reflect the rooms that we received. After making several more mistakes (and another 20 minutes of waiting), it was finally fixed. This was ridiculous!! *Also, the walls are very thin, and my dad and step mom were not thrilled to listen to their neighbor's hours-long lovemaking session.

Stayed here for family weekend at college. I was so impressed with the design of the hotel. I loved all the details. The check in was quick and the staff is so friendly. Breakfast was good. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel was very nice. There was a wedding in the hotel during our stay (we were not guests of said wedding) but I loved how they embraced and celebrated the couple that was getting married there. We were not staying in the area, but using the hotel as a sleepover spot before continuing on our road trip. The room was comfortable but the water pressure in the shower wasn’t the greatest. Flingers pizza across the street from the hotel was AMAZING! 100% recommend! The complimentary buffet breakfast was alright. It offered more options than what budget-friendly hotels usually offer. I was surprised at the deal we got considering it was such a nice hotel. Very great deal from this app! Overall, very satisfied with our stay! If we ever return to the area, we will definitely stay again!
