The staff were very nice and helpful and the room was great and comfortable.

The only thing I did not like was the pool. It was dirty, the floor and the walls of the pool were dirty.

Location

I checked in but didn’t go directly to my room because I was late for an event with a congregation I was visiting. When I returned to the hotel and went to my room, the seal to show the room had been cleaned and sanitized was broken so I wasn’t comfortable with being in that room. I didn’t bother to enter the room. I went back to the front desk to ask for another room. The guy on duty INSISTED that I keep that room. He stated that sometimes the cleaning staff just forget to put the seal on the door and offered to walk me back to the room to check that it had been cleaned. In the midst of Covid, I was not feeling comfortable and to state that the cleaning protocol was sometimes not followed certainly did put me at ease. After I requested a refund, he decided to give me a different room. I’m not sure why I had to go through a 5-minute conversation about it!! I won’t stay there again and neither will others from our church who frequented that hotel. The customer service was disappointing.
