Our experience was generally good beds comfortable clean etc but no air conditioning. It is expected to at least have air conditioning as a choice this day and age especially when budget hotels offer this as part of the price. The staff are 100% fabulous customer service exceptional.

Pretty good value

Everthing about the hotel was great. We only had a couple of small gripes. We found our bed a bit hard, though my brother in law in another room found theirs soft. So my wife didn't sleep well, I didn't think I was going to get much sleep either due to the matteress, but, I had a great sleep.We thought being on the front of the hotel was going to be noisy due to the traffic, but it was really quiet. The noisiest thing in the room was the soft close toilet seat. The selection of food for breakfast was great. I would stay here again.Thanks

The quality and spotless cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent; it looked new or recently refurbished. I never like wash basins with a centrally located mono-tap. Too many times have I cracked my forehead on these when shaving and brushing teeth. Even just hand washing has to be done while trying to avoid the tap getting on the way - but these do now seem to be universal in hotels. The restaurant prices are very high, for dinner. While breakfast is excellent value, when booked with the accommodation. Service standards were very high. Rooms at the front of the hotel can be noisy. The road on which it is located seems to be a popular race track for some drivers, late at night and early on the morning - even with my window fully closed. Ample car parking is available and there is a Co-op filling station directly opposite.

It was so easy and no problem

Stayed here for one night by myself, checked in late due to being at a wedding nearby. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I’d sent a message ahead of time to say I required a vegan breakfast. Bed comfy, bath hot and ran quickly, didn’t realise it was a smart tv otherwise I’d have used that ! The staff at breakfast were polite and friendly and brought me oat milk and vegan sausages on request. A friendly young man served me and I had really great service thank you . Sunflower spread also. Would have just been an extra touch to have alternative milk ready and available in the room for hot drinks. Parking easy and although not the quietest place I still slept well. Would stay again thank you.

Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. Easy access to M62 and good for going to an event at The Piece Hall. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast good. Apparently the pizza restaurant is very good but we weren't there when it was open

Overall my stay was great! The hotel was extremely clean and tidy. The hotel staff were super friendly, helpful and patient. I was there for a wedding and they were extremely understanding, patient and compassionate wuth all our requests and queries! For those who need to stay warm, this hotel will be great for you! They have gas radiator heaters, and you can control the settings. I felt warm (which is rare in a hotel) during my entire stay (two nights). The shower/bathtub was beautiful; the shower pressure and temperatures were spot on for someone with sensitive skin. My only critiques would be that the hotel isn't very inclusive for those with physical disabilities or single travellers with luggage as you need to go upstairs and as far as I saw there wasn't an elevator. HOWEVER, there are rooms available on the ground floor and disabled parking spaces for those who need it. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel to get to Huddersfield bus station (5-10mins from Huddersfiels train station) in about 10minutes. There's also a Co-Op (across the street) and Tesco Express (around the corner) from the hotel which is super convenient. The only other thing is that the Wi-fi kept dropping out so had to use my data in the hall/reception area and sometimes in my bedroom. Overall, it was a FABULOUS stay at the hotel and again every single staff member was extremely professional, considerate and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Welcoming staff- Donna, Steph , Sophie : they're all gems of the hotel. Bedroom was clean, spacious , bathroom was clean as well. Wifi is free and fast. Had an excellent and comfortable stay.

Nothing fancy but clean and tidy. Close to the motorway. Breakfast good but coffee cold. Pleasant staff.

The check In experience was quick and fairly simple. The bed was terrible, very uncomfortable, almost felt like we were sinking. Would have expected at least a water bottle in the room. The whole breakfast experience was simply horrible. My child apart from just being a child, is autistic. The hotel were already made aware of this when we booked. Breakfast once ordered took more than 35 minutes. The omelette looked overly browned. The coffee was lukewarm. The continental selection was a sorry sight to look at. Apart from the cleanliness which was excellent the only other good thing was the Italian restaurant. Other than that not at all an inclusive hotel. Terrible experience.
