Exceptional view of the historic centre and cathedral. Perfect location away from the crowds but close walking distance to all sites. Hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Great property, gorgeous view and location, great continental breakfast, and lovely staff

Alma Domus is a jewel of a hotel in a jewel of a city. The rooms are simple,, comfortable, and ours, at least, had a spectacular view. It's located in a quiet part of Siena but easily walkable to all the sites. There's quite a good restaurant, just a few yards away. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the breakfast we had there was great. This has become my go-to hotel anytime I'm in Siena.

We had an amazing stay! The view was amazing and we had a modern room. The breakfast was perfect and in a beautiful room!

Alma Domus was comfortable, very clean (sleeping area and private baths), the views were fantastic from our room, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and our hosts and staff were friendly and accommodating. I would never hesitate to stay here again, and would recommend to friends.

Fine for one night for the price but I would never do anything more than that. Very thin walls where you can hear your neighbors talking and slamming their doors. Room was set up and looked like an old hospital. Shower pressure not great. If you need a hotel for a night it’s fine but it’s also a trek of a walk from the train station. Plan on a 25 minute hike up hill both ways.

Modern facility with elevator, rooms had safes as well. Breakfast included many options and was well-staffed. Facility had nice patio, as well as a library. Good dining options nearby.

Tiny but it had AC. The hotel use some nicer furniture in the rooms.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet. Location was great with short walking to restaurants, shopping and main attractions. There is a nice outdoor patio area by the main entrance where we relaxed with a glass of wine after a long day of exploring. Loved Sienna and this hotel 👏👍

The property is full of history. There was loud outdoor music on weekend nights, one night until 12:00am.

Good location. Good breakfast. I would stay in a deluxe room if I go back. Economy bathrooms are very small.

The staff was exceptionally rude, disinterested and dismissive. I don’t understand how it has so many good reviews. Either they’re fake or it was different management then.

The location of this property was great. Local bars, restaurants and sites to visit on the doorstep. Staff friendly and very helpful. Able to store luggage until we had to leave much later in the day.

Excellent location

Very convenient to most all attractions in the historic center of Siena. The views from the hotel and our room (with a city view) were spectacular. The hotel was very clean, the staff were welcoming each time we left or arrived from our daily visits. The room keys are kept at the front desk and the desk is staffed 24-hours with very polite and friendly clerks. Breakfast was simple, but very good, offering a variety of fruit typical pastries, breads and cheeses. Expressos and cappuccinos were well prepared by breakfast staff and free flowing. Nearby restaurants have great menus for other dining experiences. The check-in was smooth and staff made sure that our rental car was registered with the local police to allow us to enter to ZTL. Be prepared to hear bells from the nearby cathedral 24 hours a day, although at night they are simple chimes and much quieter than the daylight hours. I can't think of a better location and welcoming place as the Hotel Alma Domus, and the City of Siena

We absolutely loved this unique place: location, cleanness, a stunning view from the window, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast! There are no cons for this hotel. Highly recommend!

Chose a Superior room, and that was a wise decision. Great room. Not big but enough space, and a nice little balcony with a mind blowing view. So glad I tried this Great cool looking bathroom. Everything seemed in excellent condition. Furthermore the location is terrific in such an amazing spot in a historic neighborhood with hardly any noise. Great solemn vibe

The property is great, and the staff was very good. The view from the balcony was awesome, looking at the Cathedral. The only issue we had was that it was very loud on Saturday night until 2 am, sounded like a party being held nearby.

It was unique because the entrance is along an outdoor staircase of about 200 steps in a city of many levels. The entrance is also on the top floor. It’s situated in a section of Siena that has a remarkable view of the rooftops and the Duomo.

Best hotel we stayed while in Italy. View from our room was stunning and one of more amazing views for places we have stayed over the years. Very charming, great value and we would return again.
