Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Construction happening all around which created a bit of a challenge for parking. Otherwise, great value.

I returned to this hotel for my second trip to Iceland. Convenient access to everything in Reykjavik. The road in front on the corner is under construction, but it didn't impact parking or foot traffic, and we were unaware of outside noise (our room was on the other side). The room was spacious enough for 3. Breakfast was delicious and accommodated both American and European tastes. We enjoyed the spa facilities in the basement. We were able to wear the robes to Sky Lagoon, where other visitors were jealous they didn't think to do the same.

They need to improve their customer service. Check-in service is too hard. We are a group of 20 and used Expedia to make our reservation. Some of our group received early check-in but we did not have the same benefits. They also received free drinks and we did not??? Because we booked it Travelocity and we are not a premium member. Once again, thank you It is more negative feedback from the front desk representative. One of the front desk representatives I believe she is from Spain argued with me after waiting for at least 4 hours for early check-in she stated that due to the cleaning crew choosing and picking and making the decision in early booking. No urgency on their side. She was very unprofessional. Would I refer my friends and family to stay in your facility? Definitely not. There are a lot of center hotels in the Rejakavick area that I'm sure have an excellent customer experience to offer.

Very limited parking. Difficult to get to due to construction nearby.

Comfortable accommodations without too many frills. What stands out is that the staff are absolutely amazing. They took great care of us, including when my 8 yo son got sick on our first morning at breakfast. Someone rushed over with chamomile tea without us even asking. They were also very helpful with directions and advice on where to go. We would stay here again.

Convenient location if you do a fair amount of driving. Also has great access to downtown shopping and dining. Staff was great. Everything was super clean and orderly. Rooms are small but functional. Will stay here again.

We stayed twice (one night each) at this hotel during our vacation. The first time we did, one of their employees made a mistake with our booking. They acknowledged their mistake and went overboard with ensuring our comfort by giving us several freebies well beyond our expectation. Beyond being blown away with their efforts to make things right for us, the hotel, the room, the staff and the service were top notch. I would stay here every time we visit Reykjavik.

Very nice property! Current construction around the area makes access a bit difficult until you figure you just have to drive on the wrong side of the road to get around d a blockage. Parking for hotel guests only limited. Nice outdoor spa. Rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable bedding. I was told upon checkin that breakfast was included with my room(s), but found out in the morning this was not the case. Breakfast was expensive so we walked to a coffee shop (there are many close by). We would stay there again

Helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms. Great location where you have everything you need within a short walking distance. No complaints at all. The hey even gave us a choice of rooms. Smaller room with an amazing view, or a larger room with no view. We took the bigger room, but having the option was great.

I like this hotel because of its location and convenience. Two things that were super annoying - there’s major construction happening adjacent to the hotel - major pipeline work where there’s insane jackhammering and vibration going on all day. I wish this was mentioned somewhere since it’s an inconvenience to guests. Second, the bathroom smelled like sewer and had no vent. I know this is often a thing on islands or cities where the sewer system is shallower than desired but this was a problem and with no vent/exhaust and the fact that the bathroom door had major gaps, it was very difficult to be in the room for too long. Other than that major piece, the room was clean.

This hotel was in a great location for walking into the city to get food. The room was large and clean and the staff was excellent. I do wish that there had been more parking so we didn't have to park down the street and worry about tickets. Also proper blackout curtains during the summer would have been very beneficial.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and easy to chat with! They try to accommodate our requests when they can and of course we understand when they can't! I would stay here again when I get the chance to visit Iceland someday!

Finding Parking was a fiasco! You can't take Breakfast to your room, you have to eat in the dining room area. Staff were pretty nice and sweet.

It’s was excellent location, great staff and very helpful and friendly. The only problem was there was nowhere to put our clothes in the room and not a single space to put our stuff in the bathroom. No cabinet or shelf and it was very uncomfortable and complicated. Aside from that, the hotel has no AC, so we wish the window would open a bit more so the air could flow more. Overall it was comfortable but just those 2 options to keep in mind

Fantastic hotel with great facilities, there were some road works during our stay but the hotel staff were fantastic at doing there best to improve things during our stay. Good places to eat nearby and quick access to the shops. Bus stop right outside for tours and airport.
