The hotel was well located with a 10 to 20 minute walk to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and other attractions in Rome. We felt safe walking around in this area and the hotel was very clean and staff were great and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, all the team are friendly and extremely helpful Rooms and all areas of the hotel are spotlessly clean. Breakfast included and what a variety of sweet and savoury treats. Location wise it's a few minutes walk from termini station and was perfect for us. If we ever return to Rome we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Nice and convenient location, the staff were friendly and helpful. nice continental breakfast. Water dispenser and coffee/espresso machine in lobby available 24 hrs., which we liked. We had an early flight and would miss breakfast the day of checkout, so they offered to make to-go boxes for us which was really thoughtful.

As always, the staff is incredible, understanding of very tired international travelers. Accomadating. I had fallen asleep on the dining sofa, the front desk person took my luggage to my room for me, and placed a bottle of red wine there for me. I stay at Princeps EVERY TRIP to Rome. Can't beat it.

AMAZING as always. After traveling for 16 hours, it is absolute HEAVEN to come there and rest, relax and sleeeeeeep.

Great stay and very clean hotel and comfortable bed. Breakfast exceeded expectations and love how they have water to fill up the bottle all day and also hot water all day. The one thing I would say they could improve is different hand soap to have a different smell but other than that it’s a super small thing and we would def stay again next time we are in Rome!

We only stayed one night before our flight home from Rome, but would’ve been very happy to have stayed longer. The hotel is 20 rooms on the fourth floor of a historic building in the center of Rome. They had a wonderful breakfast spread. Beds were very comfortable, room was very clean. We would definitely return if given the opportunity.

We had a 1 night stay before our cruise. We picked the perfect hotel. We reserved a ride from the airport amd then to the cruise port through the hotel. So convenient and the hotel did an awesome job with the reservation. Would stay again for sure.

We stayed one last day in Rome Italy before going back home. Excellent location. We don’t see city view where we live so we enjoyed it from our room window. Very comfortable pillows & bed. Nice breakfast with variety of food. Access to water, coffee & snacks through out the day. Great bonus with refrigerator filled with variety of drinks when check in.

The location was convenient and quiet, and the hotel itself was spotless inside and very chic. Unassuming from the outside, it was a lovely stay in a small but well-appointed room. Everything was exceptionally modern and clean, with spotless facilities and a very generous and thorough breakfast. I only stayed one night, but would absolutely make a point to stay here again.

Princeps Hotel Rome was the perfect choice for my pre Mediterranean Cruise. About 500 yards from the Roma Termini train station, it was a straight walk up Cavour Blvd adjacent to the Santa Maria Basilica. About 50 feet on your left is a small doorway that is the entrance to the building the hotel is located in. Enter and go straight and the small elevator on the left side up a small step. 4th floor and thru a glass door you enter a nicely updated check- in area. Hopefully you get Lea to assist you, but all 3 of the hostesses were polite and professional. After a very quick check in, card keys in hand, you will enter your very clean, updated room. The shower stall in the bathroom has a nice rain shower head with more than adequate water pressure. Bed was extremely comfortable and television and free wifi were fine. The complimetary breakfast was way above average. I also received a complimentary bottle of whote wine. Lea exchaged it for a bottle of Chianti which was nice. The location of Princeps is a short walk to Spanish Steps. Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. Hop On Hop Off bus directly across street on other side of Santa Maria's. Many local restaurants including an a pizzeria run by Brits. Sat outside twice enjoying their Italian fare. Also a small Gelato shop 50 feet from Princeps door. Overall felt extremely safe and comfortable with Princeps Hotel and would stay again. Enjoy Roma! Ciao!
