My stay was for business and after a short wait for my room, i was able to get in and relax. There was a bowl of fresh fruit in the room and i received a credit at the restaurant for the delay of my room.

The stay at The Darcy was amazing. I am always leery of city hotels, but the staff here are doing it right. The room and building were both clean, and we were ALWAY greeted with a bright "Welcome back!" regardless of the time of day. We will absolutely be staying here again, and I would HIGHLY recommend their hotel for anyone visiting DC.

Recently refurbished hotel. Nicely done. We were upgraded to a suite that was generously sized and comfortable.
Service is outstanding here. Ski in the bar and Angga at breakfast could not have been nicer or more helpful. Nia and Joy arranged for our VIP room upgrade

I feel bad giving 3 stars because every staff member was so kind. There were a few significant problems which I wish I knew before I booked. 1- the bathroom is the smallest room I have ever seen in my life! You literally can sit on the potty- wash your hands in sink and your feet in the shower all at the same time. 2- room service closes at 10 pm… this is very difficult since most of DC shuts down restaurants around the same time. We were there for a family event and were out every night until 10 so we either ate nothing for dinner or chips from front desk! The breakfast was delicious but was never totally correct (one day missing silverware so by the time we got utensils our food was cold). Like I said staff was kind and apologetic for issues but I would not stay again.

The hotel had a great location just outside of DuPont Circle and close to so much. Easy 15 min walk to the monument area. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room and hotel was beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfy. Definitely recommend & would stay again

Booked a king. Got a double. Had to switch rooms. Front desk was rude. Pictures are misleading. Room was smaller and more compact than led to believe.

Great service! a surprise variety of fruits on the table was really a great gesture. Mr. D. Wong is awesome for letting me checked in early plus complimentary cocktails ❤️ and greeted nicely by the people on the front was wonderful ❤️

I enjoyed Brandi and Daheem at the bar immensely. When I asked a cleaning person for extra coffee pods she was extremely gracious and helpful. This was a wonderful stay, highly recommended!!

Convenient location, ample sized rooms with pleasant decor. Room fees seem a little aggressive. Parking was $ 60 extra and a few other unexpected items.

Honestly the only reason I gave it a poor review was because of the bartender at the hotel bar. Could not have been bothered with paying attention to anyone except her friend at the end of the bar. In addition to completely ignoring me (and then getting my order wrong when she did walk over) there was a couple next to me who had the same exact experience.

Every member of the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is well appointed, the food at the restaurant is very good and it has a nice atmosphere. The hotel location is great, and they have bicycles you can use to visit the different DC locations. Max and The Yeye are always ready to help with the bicycles.

Hotel and hotel room were both very good. Slight issue with shower leaking and coffee machine not working properly. When checking in hotel clerk asked for my credit card for any incidental charges. Normal. However, no transparency regarding amenity fee of $35 per night. I was told upon checking out this was for Wi-Fi and coffee in the room. That should be standard. If being charged for amenities than please disclose and make it worthy of charge.

The property was nice. I liked the decorating of the lobby and hallways, along with the rooms. I did not like that the toilet would run for a very long time off and on after you flush or how the bathroom door did not lock. The shower would also spread water everywhere. The bed was very comfortable and the air worked wonderfully. I also did not like that when we asked where to park, we were told to utilize valet. We were not told that it would cost anything, just that it was the option that we had. So that $60 was a big surprise. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Great hotel. Affordable, no unnecessary frills, but still quite nice. Not quite boutique, but very much enjoyed my stay. Quiet, clean, and no issues.

Room was clean and functional, although bathroom was quite narrow. Some staff were superb (nia and the doorman in particular) while others (particularly in the restaurant) could have been more attentive. We had breakfast at the hotel two mornings, and prices were high. Don't stay around for the happy hour. Also Expedia guests should know that there is an amenities charge of $40/night that is added separately. Walking distance to DuPont Circle for the metro and plenty of reataurants.

I enjoyed my stay at the Darcy. Staff were friendly and professional. The hotel was beautiful, clean and in a great location, easy to get around to shopping centers, museums, restaurants etc. I enjoyed their 5pm happy hour, a perk I never knew I needed. I would definitely recommend.

We ate at the restaurant Friday night (26th) and our waiter was so rude , it almost made us get up and just leave. We couldn’t finish our sentences and he was all around very rude. Then he was serving the cocktails for cocktail hour where he was rude again. The bartender we hand though earlier was great , I believe he was the only one behind the bar but he was great. Front desk was also great but the waiter we had was horrible.

We had an amazing experience! The only thing I wasn't aware of was the valet parking only. But that could've been my fault if I missed it under the listing. Otherwise we had an amazing experience
