We had a pleasant time at Palacio das Esperiancias, the room was comfortable, the staff was full of attention and we had a wonderful night at the fado dinner, it's a "must do".

Staying here was absolutely a treat; so much so I booked it again on our last night before we leave Lisbon.
We really enjoyed the spa and welcome drink and appetizers. All the staff was friendly and Allan was especially accommodating during our time. We only wish the spa was open later (closes at 20:00 hr).

This is a must stay if you’re visiting Lisbon. The rooms are so charming, the staff welcoming, and the amenities plentiful. It is in a perfect location, walkable to most everything, including a metro, lovely cafes, the waterfront, and other desired sites. Our favorite perk besides the exquisite breakfast spread is the wine cave! We have stayed here twice and we will be back!

Beautiful hotel in great area of town. Rooms are all unique and beautiful. Wonderful breakfast with pianist and violinist as you dine. Very nice happy hour with wine poured out of wine barrels with cheese and bread plates. Vibe is like staying at a wealthy friends private mansion. Highly recommend!!

What a magnificent stay! The property is beautiful and lends itself to a rich and historic moment in time. The staff is very warm and encourage you to enjoy everything they have to offer. Breakfast is accompanied by a pianist/violinist, and you have your pick of dining experiences as there are multiple dining rooms (one overlooking the patio, and the other facing the entrance street). On my first night I had the pleasure of attending an intimate Fado dinner in the dining room overlooking the patio with some of the most amazing artists. Everyday in the cellar there is unlimited complimentary wine from local vineyards offered from 3pm - 8pm, which you can enjoy in the cellar and attached lounge, out on the terrace, or even in your room. The spa has a huge jacuzzi as well as a dry sauna, showers and the masseuse, Rita, was great. My room was elegant and spacious and the bed was comfortable as well.
It’s conveniently located 2 blocks from the Baixa-Chiado metro, as well as a bunch of trams, and about a 10min walk from Pink Street and Barrio Alto. There are ample food options, and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the night people watching on the promenade located on the corner.
Truly a great stay, and just like a guest I met who has stayed there 4 times, I can not wait for my next stay at Palácio das Especiarias!!

The whole property was a restored palace, and it lived up to our wildest dreams. The breakfast alone (and everything that happens) is a reason to book the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Palácio das Especiarias. The historic building is stunning, full of character and beauty. The highlight was the fantastic breakfast with live piano music, creating a perfect start to our day. The combination of elegant surroundings and delightful food made our visit truly special. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful well maintained historic palace home turned into a boutique hotel. Gorgeous relaxing patio where you can enjoy complimentary wine and cheese/olive/bread plates. Clean spacious room, great view of the city and glimpse of the water from our Juliette balcony. Complimentary Ginja cherry liquor and pastel de natas on check in. Staff all friendly and helpful, you can text with any needs. Great location in Chiado close to vibrant square with live musicians playing acoustic every night, walkable to shopping and restaurants and cafes. Tram stop walkable within less than a couple min where you can get on tram 28. Located on a Safe quiet side street off a cute square.
We did a day tour of Sintra and Cascáis with their contracted driver, Bruno, who was wonderful! Highly recommend! Great price, flexible times, we customized the day to what we wanted and took our time with every historic sight (Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca, Boca do Infernó, Quinta de Regaleira). Don’t hesitate, book this hotel it was wonderful.

This property was beautiful, charming, and paired with an amazing group of staff members. They were warm and welcoming despite me not knowing their native language. This hotel was in the perfect spot with everything being a walk away. When I return to Lisbon, I will be staying here again and hopefully be able to speak their language properly!

Staff was phenomenal here. Beautiful property. Picked smaller room and we were a bit cramped, the complimentary wine cellar and self serve was a huge attraction for us at end of day. We enjoyed sitting on courtyard with a glass of their wine. Bring your hiking shoes to safely walk the hills. This place was amazing.

Absolute gem of a hotel. The breakfast was amazing and no details missed on service. There is a wonderful patio area to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and a lovely piano player in the morning. Location is spot on. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The hospitality from the staff was top notch. The room was comfortable. The rooms make you feel like you stepped into the Bridgerton series, only in Poland. Daily Port Wine and cheese tastings, in addition to the cherry liquor and pastries they have out for snack. Large variety of breakfast options, and everything is homemade. Would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful three-night stay at Palácio das Especiarias! The property has a beautiful, old-world ambiance but with modern upgrades.
My experience started with an airport pick-up the hotel arranged (30 euros); my driver, Bruno, was a delight and so helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was welcoming. My room was one of the smaller rooms, but it was beautifully appointed. I was right off the street, but I didn't hear anything—those windows are soundproof! I had a slight issue with the shower, but it was addressed quickly the following day.
There are many common spaces within the hotel; I especially liked the garden outback, where I enjoyed a glass of the hotel's wine (there are three varieties, and all are tasty). The breakfast spread was bigger than I imagined and a great way to start the day.
My favorite part of the hotel was its location. It felt very central, so walking to all the different neighborhoods was easy! There were also a couple of streetcar stops just around the corner. It was very hot while I was there, so I was able to explore and then pop back to the hotel for a break before heading out to enjoy Lisbon again!
Obrigada, Palácio das Especiarias, for providing a fantastic home base during my first visit to your amazing city! I can't wait to come back.

Absolutely loved my stay. Great staff, gorgeous rooms, complimentary spa, a beautiful free breakfast with so many options, walkable to the water shopping and great restaurants. My only complaint was the bath water never ran hot. But loved everything else. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere better if I were to return to Lisbon.

Amazing service! Allan was who greeted us and was very kind and attentive. The same goes for the dining staff and the front door gentlemen who helped us with our bags. The hotel itself is gorgeous not to mention the breakfast with live music.
The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Thank you for a great first Portugal impression on our honeymoon!
