The a/c did not work well. Neither did the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Made the room uncomfortably warm.

Clean and quiet stay! Very nice staff and easy access to JMU. Beds were a little hard but the corner room on the 7th floor had an amazing view

What an ideal hotel for the parents of kids at JMU, or anyone in Harrisonburg, really. Beautiful property, ideal, location, friendly staff. Bed was only OK, as were the pillows, but everything else was so great that I’d still give it 4 or more stars.

Convenient to JMU for orientation. We were able to walk out of the garage and into the student success center. We were able to leave our vehicle in the garage. Staff was very helpful. Nice room. Only thing i saw was the lock on the bathroom door was broken.

The hotel was a bit difficult to park at. You have to get a room key in order to park-so glad we used the turn around and learned that. The lobby is beautiful, and very upscale. The hotel room was a bit worn, but very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

I would have given 5 stars across the board but they charge an additional fee for parking in the hotel parking garage; ridiculous!

We frequent the Madison. The staff is generally very nice and accommodating. The hotel is under resteraunt renovation so there is no food or drink at this time. The per floor well could use a good clean and the beds are getting to the point they need an upgrade. We will stay there again but would love to see the rooms and carpet refreshed.

As usual, we had a very spacious room, all the amenities, a comfortable bed, a great breakfast buffet, and great service! One of my favorite places to stay!!!

The hotel was beautiful and clean! But i had high expectations going into it. First we had to pay for parking, no breakfast with stay, the bed and pillow were not comfortable at all and our remote didn’t work so we could not use the tv. All those things together made me not want to choose this hotel again.

Check-in was too rushed and too much information given in one sentence.
Young gentleman (clerk) who rattled off all this information clearly has no experience dealing with elderly people who need more time to process information.

Wonderful place to stay. Close to Downtown and the University.

Only thing I didnt like was I had to pay to use the pool and no continental breakfast for the amount I paid for the room. Room was clean and comfortable bed. The personnel were welcoming and polite.

The bed sheet was dirty. It looked like it had spaghetti sauce splashed on it. The shower and bathroom sink drains were clogged

Vey nice hotel right on campus. Perfect for our quick visit for fresh and orientation. TV was a little glitchy but other than that - delightful.

It was very clean and quiet. Since it is off season with JMU not in session I appreciate why they would not have the bar open which was no big deal. I look forward to my next stay.

Super clean with a nice restaurant and lobby with a bar ( often with live music) We always spend a night here on our travels between Georgia and upstate New York.

Super convenient when visiting GMU. Hotel was clean and quiet. Really enjoyed the free parking as a bonus for being a silver member on Expedia.

This hotel is a really nice place. The problem I had was that some of the guests were very unruly and I was woken up by intoxicated individuals. The hotel needs security if this is a common issue.
