5 adults stayed Property was clean and checkin was easy. Everything we needed was there. Manager responded to minor issue quickly. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The property was just as described, the yard was big and beautiful, as well as private, our dog loved it! The trail behind was very nice as well. The cabin was well stocked and tidy. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for the great stay!

We had a great stay in this cottage. It was very clean and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. The screened in veranda and hot tub were a bonus. The beds were very comfortable.

We were very happy with the visit and the Owner/caretaker was very supportive. We arrived to snowy conditions and all the nearby roads were still accessible with quick response for snow clearing. Positive experience all around.

Came out with 4 women (40’s) and the space was IDEAL! Sunny kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, hot tub was clean and relaxing, and the open floor plan made socializing easy while we were using the dining room, living room, and kitchen at the same time. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and owner was quick to reply to all queries before and during our booking! We will be back!

Second time we have stayed at this property (and the one next door), great cabin where are the details are taken care of. Will definitely be back for a 3rd time in 2025!

This was my wife and I's first getaway with just our son and dog, and it couldn't have been any better! The space was beautiful, clean and fully stocked. We didn't need to contact the property manager for anything, as it was so well set up to begin with. The extra amenities (hot tub, fireplace, etc...) on top of it all made this the perfect little retreat for a couple days. We loved it so much we are considering booking again and bringing the rest of our family along. Thanks so much for a wonderful getaway.

Lovely place to stay! We arrived after dark, so we had just a little bit of trouble finding the right place, as it is set further back from the road than the cabins next to it, and we couldn’t see a driveway/parking area because it was all covered in a good layer of snow. It would’ve been easy to find if it had been cleared before we arrived. We all drive trucks, so parking wasn’t a problem, and it got cleared shortly after we arrived. The cabin is very cozy, very clean, and sleeping accommodations very comfortable. It’s got a rustic feel, but nicely modernized as well. Hot tub was a hit! Did a little bit of hiking as well, even though it was quite cold, and the trails are beautiful and you can hike right from the back yard! Definitely enjoyed the fireplace when we got back! The kitchen is very cute, surprisingly spacious, and has all the appliances, dishes, utensils, and serving dishes we needed. Glen was very accommodating with specific requests, and quick to respond when I sent a message. He even offered early check in and check out, which we greatly appreciated! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!

The cabin was all I could’ve hoped for, hubby loved building a fire each morning and children loved the sleepover in the big beds. The walk in the snow laden woods kept me looking for Mr Tumnis ! It was an amazing getaway! Thank you for everything!!

We rented the cabin to have a family Christmas weekend. There were 7 of us. It was a beautiful cabin, would 100% rent again. Very clean, very nicely renovated. Hot tub in the winter is amazing. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay, great price for the quality. Loved the jacuzzi! Really loved how nicely the kitchen was stocked, ready to prep food. Would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was fabulous and the backyard huge.

Clean with all the amenities!

We went there with another couple, and it did not disappoint. The place was beautiful, and clean and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was perfect and we loved the sunroom. The only complaint was the beds were a little too firm, but that might only be a preference.

Location was easy to find, walkable to the lake and walking trails. House was clean with lots of lounging space! Highly recommended

This cabin was very clean and well maintained. The beds provided lots of sleeping space and the bathroom was very modern. The property owner was amazingly responsive to deal with as a renter and very friendly. The location was great for getting into Victoria Beach since it's on the edge of the restricted zone so we were able to bike in and out multiple times a day with no issue. We were also minutes away from multiple beaches by bike. Our cabin group really likes to do outdoor games and board games indoors in addition to visiting beaches and there was a great yard with some outdoor games already supplied and tons of table space for indoor games too. We also loved the hammocks on the property to read in when we wanted quiet time to catch up on our favorite books. Overall excellent experience! We had few small suggestions and the owner was very open to the feedback and we could tell he cared deeply for providing a good rental experience. Thanks for renting to us!

The cabin was so much more than we expected! It was beautifully renovated, with high quality finished and lots of attention to detail. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked - we felt like we were staying at a friends home! The beds were clean, comfy and had quality linens. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the hut tub everyday. Loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend without reservation.

Our week long stay was great at the Old Oak cabin. We appreciated the cleanliness, had great sleeps as the beds were comfortable, and found the kitchen to be very well-stocked and organized. The hot tub was an added bonus for cooler days. Thanks to the mgmt team who accommodated with bike rentals as well!

Our stay was pleasant and comfortable. We made good use of the kitchen and screen porch! There was lots to explore in VB and also cosy to stay in and play. We brought our own children’s stuff like packnplay, high chair etc. Hosts were easy to reach for any questions. Highly recommended!

We had a great long weekend. The only negative I can say is we couldn’t leave the AC on in the other room at night for it has a loud sound.

The pictures don’t lie, the finishes inside the cabin area very nice and the cabin is very clean. The new screened in porch provides a beautiful spot to spend any part of the day in. The kitchen was fully loaded and had everything we need to cook all our meals. Plenty of board games left there for your use, if needed. Wifi worked good and so did the hot tub. There was some construction happening around the property but no work/noise while we stayed. The property is close to two other residents but it was not an issue. Wagons or bicycles are convenient so you can make the trip down to the pier or beach easily. Check in and check out were as described as well as the amenities provided

Amazing house, amazing spot, no regrets

We had a great weekend, the cabin is very clean and beautifully decorated. It was obvious that the owners put a lot of effort into making it cosy and comfortable. The cabin is well stocked and we had everything we needed. The best part for us was the screened in deck, where we played games and had all our meals.

We enjoyed our stay at this property there isn’t much privacy in the yard space, but the hot tub was amazing and the home is beautiful. It was a easy check in and check out process

Our group of 6 rented two cottages on this property. Both were extremely clean and well appointed. The kitchens had modern appliances and were stocked with all of the amenities. The bed linens were high quality and the beds were extremely comfortable. The large, screened in deck was a bonus as were the hot tub and firepit. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had an excellent stay and would love to return next year.

We had a wonderful weekend in this nice and well furnished cabin. The kitchen has everything you need including perfect appliances. Almost everything is new. The hot tub was a highlight for our family We enjoyed the time there. And we will be back.
