We loved this little house. I will say with all the adults, there wasnt as much room in the common area, but we just alternated. We will absolutely stay again. The second floor was amazing with the own bathroom and beds, cant wait to see the upgraded beds this year! The bunk bed was a little rough with a 6 foot 1 husband and myself. Lol. The host was so helpful and very communicative. He was very acommondating. Thanks Chad for everything!!!

Loved this property! Communication was fantastic. We were able to contact him and get in on a short notice. Everything was perfect for us. Location was what we needed to go out and be able to cast a line for a little weekend fishing. Can't wait to go back during warmer weather and bring the ski's.

Try out the lake in "off" season and enjoy a different aspect than summer. We very much enjoyed our relaxing stay at the lake. Everything we needed was available for convenience and comfort. The beds were very comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Our teenaged boys very much enjoyed the upstairs loft area. We really liked that there was a king sized bed such as we have at home which put this place at the top of our list. Any questions we had were answered immediately. I particularly enjoyed walking in the still neighborhood and enjoying my coffee on the back porch.

The home itself was perfect for what we needed! The beds were all very comfortable! We would love to stay again when we could enjoy the lake and fishing!

The house was great, plenty of room, and met our needs for a family of 4 staying for the week. The kids had activites to do near by or within short drives. (Longer drives to zoo, museums but not horrible). They loved the kayaks and cornhole and fisbing righy off the dock.

Wow; upstairs suite with outside porch to sit and catch a breeze or watch sunset with a cup of joe or whatever. Inside, a huge large screen tv with sitting area. Downstairs has a lovely roomy sitting and cooking area with all cooking essentials provided. Outside nice conversation area with grill and short walk to waters edge. What more could you ask for especially if you just want to be lazy and enjoy the day doing nothing. beautiful place.

The property was an excellent condition and very clean. Access to Indian lake was easy. We docked our boat in the canal along the seawall for easy access. We enjoyed our time on the lake and playing games on the back porch. The owner, Chad, was very helpful, friendly, and easy to reach.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this property! It presented exactly as advertised, it was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The washer and dryer were a great perk! Nice neighbors, easy access to main lake!

Wonderful location right next to moundwood boat launch. Docked the bass boat up all weekend against the seawall.
House is beautiful and spacious and comfortably houses and slept 6 adults and 2 infants.
Outdoor covered patio and lakeside patio are hard to beat and give options for poor/fair weather!
Owner is fantastic and welcoming, just a phone call away if you need anything!

We had an amazing trip! The house was great! Great location for fishing on the canal, close to restaurants, and right across from the state park. We loved the fishing, kayaking and finding cool rocks at the park. The host Chad was super friendly and attentive to his guests needs. Would definitely stay here again!

We appreciated the cleanliness, amenities and attention to details that make a difference for a family vacation stay. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle board and they ability to dock our boat at the property. Furniture was comfortable. We plan to come back.

Clean, plenty of room, well equipped and a good location. Outside set up nicely with plenty of seating both under an overhang or in the open. Grill and firepit. Plenty of firewood provided. Several kayaks provided. Fishing off the dock. Nice comfortable place.

The house was very clean and well stocked. It had loads of towels and linens. We rented a pontoon for the week and it was safely docked on the private sea wall. We caught lots of fish from the comfort of the sea wall. Neighbors are nice and friendly. Due to the cool and rainy weather (in June 🙄), we used the fire pit. Firewood is sold in bundles at several locations in Russell Point. Something to note: the hot water is HOT. Be alert if you have children. It never ran out, which was nice. Chad is a great host. Near but unobtrusive. I would gladly rent this place again.

Wanted to get away and checkout the Indian Lake area. The Hideaway was perfect. Located on 1 of the lake canals, we were able to fish without leaving the property. We plan on returning when the weather is warmer to enjoy the patios, fire ring and kayaks. Chad was a great host, there was a "Welcome" package for us on the table. Chad has a notebook with property directions and information on Indian Lake.

The family homestead is too small to accomodate my tribe, so we needed a place to stay for the Thanksgiving holiday. I was thrilled to find this affordable property, complete with kitchen for food prep. Chad was an excellent host, conveniently located next door, but discreetly distant. My teenagers spent most of their time in the spacious upstairs. The kitchen is very small and does not have a dishwasher, but it was sufficient for our needs. Overall, we were comfortable and pleased with the accomodations.

My family of five loved everything about our stay. We had plenty of room and loved the large upstairs room and recliner for watching Netflix on the huge TV. The Keurig was a plus and nice to have a starter supply of k-cups, Kind bars and popcorn waiting for us. My husband enjoyed fishing out in front of the house while our daughters and I enjoyed watching the boats and beautiful lake views. We definitely hope to return.
