Modern cabin with lovely view. Canoes and kayaks provided were used daily. Close to grocery store which was convenient. Nice outdoor furniture for relaxing in the evenings.

I grew up on Shorewood Ct. so I love the location and I love Lake Orion. This house was so clean. I loved sitting on the couch drinking coffee and seeing the view of the lake. My 12 year old son stayed the week- we took advantage of the ace throwing in the front, the paddle boards and kayaks. I wish I could have stayed longer Easy check in and messages with the owners

Cute and cozy place. Great communication, check-in and check-out. Dirt roads, inside is as described, outside does not match inside but we were ok with everything.

Owner let us check in early which was nice. New BBQ. Unfortunately the lake was low, drained for repairs.

My husband, elderly parents, and I had a wonderful stay here while visiting relatives in the area. The house had great features and amenities, and the spacious living room and kitchen area worked perfectly for us. The walk-in shower was especially helpful. Location right on the lake with a dock and use of the kayaks was terrific. Communication with the owner was fantastic!

Great place for our weekend away!

We rented the house for a group of 5 adults, and we had a wonderful trip. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed! We cooked inside, on the gas grill, and over the fire pit. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for a quiet get-away on the water.

We had a great stay on the property, plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed the water, kayaks and paddleboards and loved renting the pontoon. Daytime boating and golf at topgolf with evening card games and bonfire was the perfect combo! John was very responsive to any questions!

I stayed for a week! I loved being on the lake--very restful! The cottage looks just like the pictures. The bed is comfy. The kitchen is brand new. Easy access to anything you need. John is the nicest, most accommodating host I could have hoped for! I would stay again!!

We enjoyed the nice quiet location and the house had everything we needed. The view of the lake was beautiful to wake up to every morning. Would definitely enjoy staying there again.

Very nice property with the benefit of three bedroom and two baths, which gives everyone plenty of space. Good location and very quiet.

Enjoyed our stay very much

Brocks Lake Orion Getaway is a great place to stay. The option of renting the pontoon boat at the property is very cool. Private & beautiful, house was very clean. You get the entire house, not one level of a duplex like with some rentals. Was able to park 3 cars. We would stay there again.

This was a great rental for my family. The location was convenient to other family in the area and the property was clean and well equipped. The two kayaks and paddle boards were a plus, but we enjoyed the pontoon boat the most. It was definitely worth paying extra for the pontoon and exploring the beauty of Lake Orion. John did a great a great job communicating and responding quickly to our questions.

The landscaping and grass was overgrown. We didn't use the firepit because it was rusted out. The bench by the firepit looked like it would collapse if we sat on it. The pontoon was difficult to start and died on us a few times. The bedding needs to be replaced. We loved the area but overall we were disappointed with the house.

Nice house nessled on quiet cove of Lake Orion. House was very comforable and kitchen was equipped with most things you might need. Could have been a few more games for kids to play, but we brought some with us. Got good use of the paddle boards and kayaks. We rented the pontoon for our stay and cruised around the lake. While looking at the map of the lake (down the hallway of the house) I noticed the lake has a sandbar. We checked it out and spent a good part of the day swimming off the boat on the shallow sandbar. Our stay was short but very relaxing. Thanks John for the opportunity to stay at your lake house.

This property was exactly as described. John the property owner was one of the best I have dealt with. He was very prompt in responding and wonderful to deal with. The house was very clean and very well stocked. We took three of of our grandchildren for a long weekend for a getaway before school starts. As with most children - all they cared about was swimming and fishing. The lake was very clear - my one comment will be is that you do have to step on large rocks to get into the water or to jump off the dock. The house sits at the end and is very quiet but as others wrote - grocery stores etc is a very short distance away. We hope to rent from John again.
