The property was easy to find in a quiet residential area a short drive from the local amenities. The room we stayed in was very clean and nicley decorated but on the small side. Breakfast was served on a tray in the room which consisted of a slection of items, the multi pack pastry and the coffee could of been better. It was awkward to sort the breakfast in a cramped space and we ended up sat on the bed eating it which wasn't a great experience. I'm glad we were only booked in for one night as it felt like you were confined to the small bedroom as there is no other area to relax. It was fine for one night but we probably wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely, clean albeit quite a small room. The property is a short walk from the town centre of Ullapool.
The host explained everything we needed to know about our stay upon arrival.
The only negative was the bed was quite creaky.

Although the room was quite small, it was beautifully decorated and had everything needed for a short stay. A continental style breakfast is served on a tray in your room. There was.more than enough provided ,- tea, coffee, toast, croissants,yoghurts, fruit, orange juice. Would recommend the Foinaven.

We were given a very warm welcome and advice about where to find an evening meal. Room warm and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing - continental style.

The only negative to our one night stay was eating breakfast in our room. The service and food was great, but an area with a table and chairs would have been nice. Otherwise, it was lovely!

Foinaven is a lovely b&b with a welcoming, friendly host. Breakfast was brought to our room on a tray/ table and was lovely and fresh. The room was spotlessly clean. It is about 15 minute walk into town. Would recommend.

Only downside we only stayed one night! Would definitely stay again if up this way.

We stayed here one night while driving the NC500. The room we had was beautifully decorated, new and clean. It had a brand new en-suite bathroom. The drawback for us was it was very small and there was no room to open up suitcases. It would probably be better for just one person. There also were no common rooms so you were stuck in the small bedroom for the whole stay. Breakfast was served on a tray to the room and was not a hot breakfast.
