TV remote didn’t work. I went three times to the front desk to resolve the matter, and ended up rebooting the system myself.

Room was clean, comfortable, and at a great price. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was delicious. All of the staff were very kind willing to make my visit as comfortable as possible.

Shower did not have cold water manager had to fix. No smoke detector, wires were hanging there. Breakfast area was not kept clean when visitors left tables.

Nice quiet place. Great restaurant (Tamarisk) right across the street. May have been the best meal we’ve had on this trip. Get the pork chops!!!

This is far from a fancy place but I’m giving it full marks because:

The price was right
The room didn’t have a funky smell. It had no smell at all unlike so many places that have an odor that makes you wonder “What are they covering up with this smell?!”
The air conditioning worked and was relatively quiet.

Everyone working here made our stay great. We had a very late arrival and they offered us an extra hour to check out. Which I was truly grateful for.

A hotel out in the middle of the desert high country Utah, we found this hotel ideal. Have stayed here several times on our trips to Denver from Las Vegas. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable and very clean

The hotel was ok…..the AC was very noisy, and no working ice maker you had to get it at the front desk….nice breakfast selection and employees very nice.

Very impressed by this independent hotel. It meets budget criteria, but delivers excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and committed to their business. I regularly travel through Green River with groups, and now I have a new place to stop for the night.

Great little stop. Comfy place, very clean!! Quite. Hotel backs up to a little grassy picnic looking area and then there is a trail close by around the river. Recommend.

Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and eating dinner and breakfast on the patio. Quiet hotel. Friendly host. Loved the Lego creations behind the desk.

We did not have hot water and had a mouse in the room. When we told the desk clerk, he was less than disinterested. The bathroom badly needed some maintenance and the clerk an attitude adjustment.

This hotel is nothing like the pictures. Carpets are dirty, unappealing decor (desert decor in dining area with neon asian flowers in table vases!), cold metal chairs in breakfast area, paper cups for coffee, pool area is really tiny. First room we were given wasn't clean but they gave us another room. Only good thing about this place is the breakfast - hot scrambled or over-easy eggs, sausage, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal. Not at all worth the money.

Front desk was very helpful at check in.
Got room 123, about an hour into the stay a mouse went running from under the sofa to the fridge between my kids. Front desk was super polite - got a new room 206 around 11pm but AC was off and didn’t cool correctly.
New room was much better with no mice but the lack of AC killed us. The room didn’t cool until 5am. We checked out before 8am with minimal sleep.

I've stayed here in the past. Second time this summer. Tamarisk restaurant is across the street, best in town. 1/3 mile walking path behind the museum along the river. Adequate breakfast with sausage and eggs.

The property itself was mostly clean-which was good. I was on the 1st floor and I’m unsure if the first floor is primarily rooms that accept animals or what but I was surrounded with dogs of every breed and it got quite noisy with owners chasing them down the halls.

This is a basic motel with very clean and comfortable rooms. Parking is good.
The staff changed rooms to better accommodate my 88 year old mother. The staffer gave an important tip when using third party reservations if I need special or handicapped accommodations. He suggest CALLING them directly with as much notice as I can and letting them know of the special needs.
I do appreciate their help and this tip.

First Choice Inn at the Swell was amazing. We even extended our stay because the experience was amazing. Juan was fabulous. He was so personable, accommodating, in such good humor all the time and genuinely happy. His personality really made our day. I would highly recommend this hotel.
