Some noise from a nearby road. Difficult to access the first floor room with a suitcase using an outside staircase.

Only minor issue was bath room heater would not stay on as described in the operating instruction.

Noise during the night

A cheap and cost effective hotel for an overnight stop on a recent ski trip. Options for eating out nearby as there was no food available in the evening of our arrival. Breakfast was the continental type but certainly adequate enough for our needs

Location is good a stop over when travelling down France. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fair. Nearby restaurants and a bar so that’s good.

It’s a motel which is tired and dated. Whilst it was clean in the surface, it was well worn. Only one towel (although I got another on request no problem) but they were threadbare and a bit grey. Our biggest issue was that it was cold. The bedding was a summer duvet but it was a very cold winter night. We could not heat the room and ended up getting out own bedding from the car to keep warm. It was a Saturday night and during the night there was lots of activity going on nearby (cars revving and horns tooting etc.) and we were concerned about our car which had items from our trip in it, which was around the front and we could not see it. However, all was fine when we tentatively looked the next day! Breakfast was an ok for the money. We realise it’s a budget hotel but the Hotel Kyriad over the road is only a few euros more and much more comfortable (we normally stay there but it was full).

There are two floors in this hotel, ground and first floor, with chalet type rooms. Only about 5 minutes off the motorway so very convenient for an overnight stop. Comfy bed. Great value but could do with updating. Good bathroom with a nice shower. Fairly spacious room.

I asked for a top floor room as i was concerned about the possibility of noise but was refused. There was only one other car in the car park when we arrived so i'm not sure why they refused my request. Unfortunately my concerns proved right as i was woken up at 5.30am by the people staying in the room above me. This was not the hotels fault but it could have been avoided if they had allowed my request. The only other thing was the restaurant was closed for some reason so breakfast wasn't an option. This wasn't a major problem as we stopped at the first services on the motorway which sold lovely croissants and coffee but it would have been nice to have the option.

Close to a good restaurant, clean and the area not too noisy. Basic but good. V Good value
