With a great location being so close to the airport I stayed 3 nights at Angkul and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. With the option for breakfast,a beautiful pool, walking distance to the beach and incredibly hospitable staff, I would highly recommend this place!

Hotel is small and looks nice. Well located: 5 minute taxi from the airport (by car; 15 mins by foot); 5 mins walk from Jerman beach. Rooms were simple but clean, comfortable bed and hot water in the shower. Staff on reception friendly and helpful. However it loses points for noise - all rooms are situated around the open courtyard with pool, and there was a group of people chatting and laughing into the early hours of the morning and the sound just carried. Very disturbing. Our room was also on the main road, so noise from both sides! Luckily we were jet lagged and exhausted so eventually slept. Breakfast is also a bit basic. Price was cheap, so it’s fine for a night if you’re catching a flight but not for an extended stay.

My room was on first floor and it was so noisy! I don’t know if it was the water tank or the air conditioner but it was hard to sleep in that much noise. The staff was friendly though.

The breakfast was very minimal, sometimes scarce, I would still recommend this hotel as it is budget, and for me only, maybe breakfast would be an issue, It certainly ticks the boxes in all other circumstances.

The worst accomodation I have ever stayed in. The smell of the room was of mould. The bathroom smelt like a filthy porta loo left in the sun. The linen and towels are old. This place needs a good clean. I paid for the night and left after 4 hours.

The staff are all polite and warm. They are always ready to assist. The property is modern, always well kept, and cleaned by the staff. Shops are accessible from the hotel. Pool is clean. I will definitely stay there again next time.

Good for a short stay (2 nights in our case) not far from the airport. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was basic. It has a small pool but we never tried it. The breakfast should probably be served individually rather than try to offer a buffet. Some shops and restaurants within a short walk. Very helpful staff.

What’s easy to check in also I ask for more pillows and wasn’t a problem just a bit noisy but that’s the guess staying up late smoking on the hall way that’s it’s open.

Everything was great about this place. 5 to 10mn by walk from the airport. Very easy to find. Enjoyable swimming pool and confortable room, super nice staff. I am glad i picked this one because it only had a few rooms

this is a 2 star hotel. we had a room facing the street, but it was very quiet. the breakfast was nothing to write home about, but you get what you pay for. was close to the airport [about a 10 minute drive, and in walking range of the beach]. had good places to eat nearby all in all worth the money imo

This hotel is close to the airport but we have to pay for the transport. Small hotel in size with basic breakfast. Nice pool in the middle of the hotel.

The hotel had everything that I needed for my stay at the best possible price and at a great location. It was in the near the busy areas of Kuta so finding stores, spas, restaurants and money changers were no problem. The staff were very accommodating and quick to action requests. The room that I had was very clean and the pool area was simple but very charming.

Great little stay if you're looking to be out of the busy areas of Kuta. Close enough to the beach and a nice walk down the beach path into Kuta.

Excellent little hotel. Immaculately clean, spacious rooms with fridge and kettle, TV with international channels.
New hotel with very friendly, and helpful staff. The only thing missing was a hairdryer and a safe in the room. The reception did not have a safe either. If this could be installed in the rooms, it would make a huge difference especially for a female sole traveller.

I sent a previous message with auto response. I would like my money back. The location listed for this hotel was different prior to purchasing than the actual hotel address given after purchase as their are two hotels by the same name. Expedia gave the wrong location when i was making my decision which was made purely for the location. I stayed at the hotel originally shown and paid at site. I did not use the hotel i paid for on expedia as it was the wrong location

Really close to DPS airport, which was why I chose it. Also just a stroll to the beach, great local warungs nearby, 24h convenience store directly opposite with cold beer, and not in the middle of the tourist throng. Good small pool, friendly staff. Recommended, value for money, locally owned boutique hotel.

Very clean, the property is brand new so everything was almost untouched. Staff where extremely friendly which always makes a huge difference. Only issues I had where a few noises in the night from the floor above. I imagine it was a litter of cats that had decided to make it their home. Showers where a bit temperamental but not a massive issue.
