It’s was a Nice hotel, room view on the sea Side , was amazing. Food was good, but it can be beter for a 5*. A big thanks to the staff always friendly and helpfull the staff at the pool and poolbar, the icecream stand, Mohamed the roller skater was very good, friendly and kind too.

We enjoyed every aspect of the all inclusive packaging and would definitely return as soon as we can

Good distanse to the mall and few atractions. Love the fridges on the beach and pool. Very tasty food.

We paid full payment in advance. However, the manager of the hotel refused to check in the 2-month infant of my friend by claiming that this infant is illegal and does not have any identification. We gave him the infant’s original birth certificate issued by Dubai Health Authority together with the mother Emirates-ID that showing she’s the mother of this baby but he said why the father is not checking in too. I told him next time we will bring the father, the grandfather, the grandmother, the aunts, the uncles and even the neighbors but this time unfortunately we brought the mother only. The Dubai birth certificate to with the mother Emitates-ID were not enough to let the baby check in with us and he said you can check in the 3 grownups but you have to ask the 2-month baby to leave immediately. We checked in and took the baby and went around searching for a proper hotel who has a competent management and we found a lot of hotels who accepted us together with dangerous baby. We checked in a way better hotel and went back to rexis to check out and take our luggage. We checked out 2 hours after we checked in. We lost the money as Rixos refused to refund our money though we only checked in and out in about 2 hours and we never used the rooms or any facilities. We didn’t even sit a minute in the rooms. I strongly recommend NOT to go to this hotel. It’s really the worst hotel I ever seen in my life

It was decent for the price

Rixos is absolutely beautiful. They are not just 5 star rated for nothing. The rooms are pristine, had a sea view and wow!The food, the service, the place itself is so beautiful. Sad it was a short stay, id absolutely love to repeat. In fact, definitely going back. Thank you Rixos

The hotel itself does not disappoint - great facilities (pool, restaurants, location). However the service at this hotel is barely a 2*. Firstly, on arrival at 10am after a long flight we were told we could not use our all-inclusive stay to have breakfast while we waited for our room to be ready. Instead told we had to pay for breakfast on arrival. I have never experienced any all-inclusive hotel do this. It was a shock after a long flight and immediately made us feel the service would be below-par based on how dismissive the check-in staff were. Eventually I kicked up a fuss so the manager allowed us to have breakfast. Really silly rule, especially as over a week's stay we skipped some meals for beach days or ate on an excursion so it balances out anyway. Poor first impression as soon as you check-in. Throughout the week, loads of below-par examples of hospitality and service. Almost all the staff cannot speak proper English so asking questions is pointless, even about food or local attractions. The concierge could not speak a word of English and told us wrong information about a theme park. Food in the buffet is fine but DOUBLE CHECK if you are vegetarian - the labels are not accurate and sometimes it says V when it clearly had meat in (eg. in the salad). The choices for vegetarians is average. They have a daily BBQ but only meat - no vege options like falafel wraps or anything like that. Hotel is also popular with Russian tourists who are rude.

The Rixos has raised the bar with this all inclusive hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The hotel seems to cater for mainly Russians. The all inclusive concept available seems to bring down the quality of what would be an incredible hotel. Would be nice to have some English children’s channels seeing as the hotel is meant to cater for families. The pools by the afternoon were dirty - rubbish, food and hair and a thin sheet of what looks like a combination of dirt and sunscreen floating around the edges in the big family pool. The Rixy kids club is a bit erratically run with some staff members forcing children to take part in activities. Food is very average in the buffet restaurants. The rooms are well styled and furnished to a high standard. Lots to like and lots to improve on!

Overall very nice hotel and location was good. Food was ok but not excellent. Kids area was lovely, pool was cold so my child did not enjoy it.

Loved the hotel and the facilities provided. It was extremely clean and the views were beautiful. Did not really like how we got kicked out of the "adult pool". All of the other pools were extremely cold and we were told we cannot swim in the adult pool with our kids. We spent 2 nights at the hotel and couldn't swim. When I tried to explain to the life guards that we really want to swim, they ended up calling security - not what we expected from a 5 star hotel. I brought this issue to the reception and they mentioned it was being investigated. I did not hear from them after that.

Night stands don’t not have USB charging, very inconvenient. Desk power outlet is deficient. The least enjoyable part of our stay was that there was no night lights in the bathroom or anywhere, even the dimming mode in the bathroom presented an uncomfortable sleeping and resting experience, folding translucent bathroom door panels are immediately next to the bed, extremely poor design. Hotel has a good looking pool and has its own protected beach, the Marina Mall is just across the street, location was very good and the building looks kind of like the Atlantis The Palm in Dubai. We picked the hotel because of the pool and the shape of the hotel. Seafood buffet was not impressive, none of the seafood including crabs, shrimps and mini lobsters were not fresh, I didn’t even touch any of them the second day… I would give it a 3 star for our two night stay experience.

Arrived at the hotel @ 1pm.... waited 2 hours before room was made available.... No problem!!!! But we were given 2 beds for 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 6). After numerous requests.... advised to use a cot for a 6 year old. Eventually....2 hours wasted, given a different room after i provided proof of email that a bed each was requested prior to our stay and confirmation was received. Even this different room was same size.... but 3 single beds.... maybe double beds, but were too small for 4 people. Crazy!!!! Oh yes, we were told that in the email correspondence from the hotel.... it stated subject to availability. When booking was made..... or clearly stated room suitable for 4... Wish i knew from before!!!! Customer Service Not great..... Decent prayer room facilities, nice beach. Room was a tad dirty, worn out. Certain staff members were very good... helpful. Food was good, but limited in some areas.... I'm only comparing with hilton, where we stayed prior to arriving at Rixos.

The staff were attentive and accomodating. The children enjoyed the kids club and nightly disco entertainment. The facilities were accessible and of a high standard. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.
