Good location everything is near to u like Izmir tower old bazar it’s good for city break hotel staff is very lovely and nice room is clean

Location was good.
I checked-in 3am in the morning because my flight was delayed. There was a reception boy, he was kind and helpful. But there was a bellboy he helped me carrying my suitcase to my room. I said to him thank you because it was late time. But he just repeated what i said almost three time with sarcastic. It was not polite and i don't understand how can he work there with that un helpful mind. Hotel was in good location and other hotel crews were ok. But first day when i arrived it was the worst experience i ever had.

room had cockroach's, dirty, never been updated for a long time, water had to asked for daily! ALL ROOMS WERE SMOKERS USE EVEN NO SMOKING ROOMS WERE SMOKED IN. JUST TOTAL RUBBISH 4 STAR

The only good thing was the location. Wasn’t safe to go outside alone as a female in the night time. even the staff in the hotel didn’t recommend to go outside alone
It looks way more prettier in the picture as it does in real life. The corridor was smelly and dark. breakfast was not as you see in the pictures. Very, very poor selections for breakfast and even bread was old sometimes. Tomato, cucumber and olives was the only greens served. We never had fruits which is very common and normal to have in a four star hotel.
Staff was nice a few times only during a 6 days stay. Even when you get eye contact they didn’t eager to say hi or good morning. Staff didn’t act professional with guests at all.
Toilet was smelly and couldn’t flush it with the first time. Needed to flush at least 6 times before it was clean.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the city. Near cafes and shops, close to the sea. Real four stars!

* Nearby Basmane (you could take all buses to other provinces).
* Nearby metrostation Cankaya, you can buy the izmirimkart (tl 5) there and use it also for bus and metro. Its very cheap (tl 3.5 is in euro 0,35 in summer 21). This price is for one way.
* Price quality is really ok
* Many places to eat nearby
* Breakfast not the same as the photos.
Very simple for 4 star
* Check in could be better (give information where and what time the breakfast is..)
* Rooms smell cigarettes, not possible to sleep there if you don't smoke. Although there are signs (non smoking) people do it anyway...

Location , value and staff
Hotel was outdated but had a sense of good one when it was younger

The room was spacious with good amenities and the hotel was good value for money. Location is good. However, read my "what I didn't like" comment. There were many negative points.
1. Front reception staff was rude, very non-communicating, made little effort to understand and to be honest, did not bother to even stand and listen with attention. Looks like they were fed up or extremely bored/irritated. We requested to curtail our trip by one night and they made it hard by saying that the booking.com receives commission, can't change, blah blah. I travelled the word via booking.com and THE PROPERTY has right to change the reservation. It was even written on my booking but they were not willing. They overcharged me for about 100 lira more. Really? This is the worst customer experience ever!
2. Breakfast not worth it at all; no value of money
3. no privacy, we put 'do not disturb' sign but the staff came anyway
4. Air-conditioning was tripping and we manually had to turn it off and switch on again
5. Thin walls, you will not only hear your neighbour but whole neighbourhood.
