Very friendly front staff. Everything else was as expected for the price.

There was a pool and a hot tub on the property for guests. The room was nice and clean with the typical items a fridge and microwave. There was no coffee maker in the room but coffee was available at the front office. The price was budget friendly so we were able to do more tourists attractions. I’d stay here again!

Our room wasnt very clean. If the kids were with us we would have asked for a refund. Dogs were running around the property unleashed. Some were aggressive making us uncomfortable. Overall we wouldnt recommend

Roadside hotel Old but rooms were upgraded

The motel is quite close to a family restaurant but unfortunately, the service there was not very good. The motel itself is dated but acceptable. That said, the door opens into a small bathroom, which is not very convenient. The problem is with the toilet. It flushes but then the contents come back into the pan. It eventually cleared but it is symptomatic of a mains drainage issue. Unfortunately, i was not able to convey this to the staff due to time constraints.

Busy road, so if you are a soft sleeper it is not for you. An Old Motel 6 but kind staff and a welcoming host!

I liked the staff. He kept an eye on the property and us,but kept his distance. Hot tub needs to be updated. The pool was a little too cold even though it was so hot outside ,but we enjoyed it overall

The guy that checked us in said housekeeping would come every morning was there for 4 days and NEVER saw housekeeping. They never came to clean the room give clean towels or put clean sheets on the bed. To many pets at the motel dogs barked all night. When checking in the guy stated my card was blocked by my bank. I called my bank and the motel never ran my card and my card was not blocked. Pool was very dirty and hot tub was luke warm water. If I could give no stars I would. The only thing good about my stay was the bed was comfortable.

it was a convenient stay. good price and dog friendly. not sure that i would stay again. the staff were great, the property appeared to have long term residents.

The motel has a nice, clean swimming pool, a playground, and a dog-walking area, unusual for a Motel 6. Rooms have vinyl flooring.

The room was nice. The only complaint i have is the floor was super dirty. After our shower we wiped the floor with a towel and it was black from dirt. Everything else was great.

The Motel 6 in Cañon City is a great Motel. They greeted me politely and professionally when I checked in. They gave me clear instructions on everything I needed to know. My room was very clean and well maintained. The a/c and heat worked quietly. The bed was comfortable. They were not trying to be a big, fancy Hotel by offering services that I didn’t need or want. They are within walking distance of several good restaurants, City Market, etc. They gave me just what I wanted at a very reasonable price and that makes them a great Motel. I will stay there again in future trips to Cañon City. I highly recommend Hotel 6.

I had to switch rooms after discovering the sink in the bathroom was leaking pretty badly. The desk clerk was very helpful and apologetic. Luckily, I had not unpacked. The noise from Hwy 50 is pretty loud. But it was a cheap room and I guess you get what you pay for. They had done some updates to the room.

Convenient location. Nice office staff. walking distance to many amenity's to include restaurants, bars, stores.

The owner runs a great value hotel. He has a amazing staff. That puts up with me getting a new key a couple of times a day. This is southern Colorado so the swimming pool is awesome and always one of the the cleanest motels in Canon city, thanks Justin for every stay always being great.

First of all, Motel 6. The only reason to utilize a stay at any Motel 6 is to save money. They have lower room rates and usually don't offer many amenities. So, I was not expecting much and at check in, I became concerned with the many additional rules and warnings that the owner repeated 4 times. I'm used to the usual, no smoking, undeclared pet, no breakfast, etc. checkin speech. But! He started mentioning mandatory housekeeping for stay overs and had individual WIFI passwords for each guest. Oh, and the yellow car tag for parking. This tells me that have had issues with people and I feared what kind of people frequented this hotel. BUT!!! It was actually a pleasant stay! The rooms were super clean and updated. There was ample parking and the parking lot was clean. The pool and hottub are outdoor and seasonal and are well maintained and sparkling. There is a dog park and playground picnic area with horseshoes! We even extended our stay and didn't have to worry about intrusive housekeeping staff as they were all super nice and accomodating to every request. We had to leave our 15 and 17 year olds for about 3 hours once and they accidentally locked themselves out of the room and I did have to call the hotel to get a key issued to them but after I explained to the owner, who zips around the property on an electronic scooter all day checking and fixing things, very pleasantly and with a great personality and fun attitude basically kept an eye on them for me! It felt like family

I liked that there was a place to take my dog for a little walk and go potty and i could even sit and listen to music very nice for me and my 🐶

I like that it has a pet area a playground for the kids and even horse shoe pit for the adults. It also has a hot tub and a pool. The staff is very friendly and they are always there to help and make sure your stay is great.
