Not excited about the central air conditioning in the halls and elevator

Loved the pool by the gym. I feel the room needs more tv programming options.

Staff and service was top notch! Rooms dated, but closing soon for renovation and still not bad considering age. Bed and pillows were super comfy so I hope they don't change them, just purchase new ones! Only bad thing is the prices in the gift shop are super over priced!

We have stayed at this property multiple times. So we are pretty used to the quality and the service m, which is usually outstanding. However, the food quality was pretty poor this time. The service was spotty. I retuned some lamb back, and asked for something else- the waiter wouldn’t take it back, and even for aggressive since he wanted a “valid reason”. I told him “ I didn’t like it”. That was not enough, he told me he wouldn’t take it without a “valid” reason- finally he took it when I said that it didn’t taste right. The drinks were definitely more watered down. If you requested towels or something else at the pool, the attendants would forget the request, despite tipping them. Definitely, we will be looking for a different hotel this December.

This resort is amazing the staff is top notch in all areas everything is 5*** it’s going to be hard to find any other resort as wonderful as this one is in every aspect -

Expedia did not have transportation upon arrival. Even though I was charged at checkout. I had to buy a separate one way transportation and call Expedia waste many hours to rebook return transportation and pay again. Additional charges incurred US$129 Disappointed and Concerning after being stuck in a foreign airport and country.

Food was good, clean place, good customer service. The only thing that we didn’t like is to pay every time to sit next to the pool. When we booked we chose all inclusive, but it didn’t seem like it because we have to pay everyday to join the seat on the pool

This was our first time visiting Cancun and we chose Hyatt Zilara based on our family recommendation. We were treated very well, they have wonderful hospitality and very attentive staff in all areas of the hotel. You feel like a member of their family and their attitude is always so welcoming. Food is excellent and all the variety available makes it easy to choose a different cuisine daily. Rooms were spacious, with jacuzzi tubs and great views no matter where your room was. I will definitely visit again!

Public washrooms are quite far away except luxurious restaurants. Otherwise, my wife and I loved it

Quiet, safe and clean, excellent service, I like it very much. The beach waves are quite big and not flat enough, which is inclined compared with the beaches of some hotels. In fact, there are not many restaurants for me in China, and maybe the equipment is not new enough. I know that they have been redecorated, and I am very satisfied with it, except for a little flaw.

Everything was perfect, the live performance every evening was fun to watch. Enjoyed the vibe and the beach here

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The staff was amazing, the space was amazing, and the food & drink was phenomenal. The only issue we had was that the hot tub drain in our room wasn’t working and the tub couldn’t fill up - we mentioned it to the staff and the next time we got to our room it was fixed. Everything was phenomenal! Some names we can remember of phenomenal staff (I wish we could remember more!) are Daniela at the pool who always met us with a smile and nice cold drinks. Charlie boy and the whole entertainment team gave the energy and fun we were looking for. Couldn’t forget Carlos the hotel photographer who caught some amazing candid photos of us we will cherish for a lifetime. We will definitely going back to the Zilara next time we are in Cancun.

The place need AC in the main lounge areas and indoor bars. Elevator felt like a stove. Need to be updated.

Pepe and Diana are the fitness instructors on the property and they did a great job with the free classes they offered at the resort, such as Pilates.

Great resort, clean, friendly staff, and very entertaining

We have been coming to the Hyatt Zilara for years; this was our 12th stay. The staff and food were perfection! Everyone has a great attitude. We always book a swim-up suite room. We take these short vacations due to both of us overcoming health issues, which daily swimming helps. Vacations are expensive and push our budgets, but the health benefits are intense and needed. This was the first time we had a bad experience. Unlike all 11 previous visits, the bed was very hard; the pillows were extremely heavy, and the room temperature was hot. Staff tried to fix the AC to no avail. Staff tried to make the bed softer by adding a duvet to the mattress, but it didn't work well. I've never dealt with pillows that were so heavy they were hard to lift or flip. Our wrists hurt now after the vacation. It's such an odd hotel room issue - but awful. Our room temperature at night was never below 76 degrees F - very uncomfortable. Our pool access area was at the very end of the swim-up suites. Unlike all previous trips, the pool was filthy the first two days. The staff took note and started to clean it. It was so bad we'd have to step through piles of floating hair and debris to enter the pool. The slime attached to the lounge chairs in the pool floated 2-3 inches as it floated in the pool. After a few days, staff cleaned the pool to perfection. I hope the issues were isolated to Room 101. We will return; the staff tried to fix the issues - but we returned home unrested and hurting.
