Hotel is gelegen in een rustige en veilige buurt. Op 1 minuut wandelen is er een tramlijn naar het centrum van Amsterdam. De kamer is okay, het uitzicht is mooi en er zijn gratis koffie en thee beschikbaar op de kamer. Goed bed, propere badkamer en lekker warm op de kamer (buiten was het ijskoud). Kortom, tevreden !
Er is geen kledingkast in de kamer. Jammer genoeg ook niet kunnen kennismaken met de gastheer. Alle communicatie verliep via e-mail.

Dit is geen hotel, maar een appartement. (kamer) Via een aparte ingang kom je bij de kamer terecht. De communicatie met de eigenaar over de sleutel verliep uitstekend.
De kamer is gerenoveerd met een nieuwe (mini) wc en badkamer. Alles was heel schoon, zag er netjes uit. Er stond een waterkoker en er waren zelfs badslippers.
Verbinding met tram naar centrum uitstekend.
Let op de wc en badkamer zijn niet zo geschikt voor grote mensen. Omdat de badkamer erg klein is, wordt alles wel direct nat daar. Kleine wastafel. Het paste allemaal net.
Er was geen tv aanwezig.

Nothing really.
Terrible stay at The Diem Amsterdam. Arrived for check-in at 13:00, but the room wasn't ready and when we got it, it wasn't clean, with hairs and dust everywhere. Walls are paper-thin, noise from doors and stairs kept us up all night. On the second night, had an uncomfortable encounter with someone inside the building, and found a suspicious bag in the staircase, which appeared to contain drugs. The last night was the worst, loud neighbors kept us awake until 4 am, feeling unsafe. The host did nothing about the noise. I strongly advise against staying here; it ruined our trip and we felt unsafe throughout our stay.

Shower is too small, the water comes out when we even wash our hand on basin. It could be improved.

Room was a bit small but was comfortable and clean. Checking in was easy by picking up the key in a lockbox. Communication with the owner was fast and helpful! Good location with tram station very close by which brings you to the city centre. Also good location for attending a concert in Ziggo Dome or the arena.

Location was good and checkin was easy. It is as described, good wifi !
Shower is a completely stupid design which puts water everywhere (also seen this elsewhere in Netherlands…). It was not very clean (hairs everywhere…).

Great room and location, 20 mins on tram from the center of Amsterdam. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The owner communicated well and efficient service with small requests we had. Thank you!

Owner’s attention and help. Small but functional room with a nice price. The location isn’t bad.

Tidier and more beautiful than I think and the location is also good which is near of the train station. Also the owner was so kind and welcomed us before our check-in time. Highly recommended!

Was a lovely clean little room for a short stay, the bed was very comfy and staff where very nice and welcoming!
Bathroom was very small and awkward to use and only one small mirror in the shower but wasn't an issue for a short stay

The hospitality of the host and the privacy. It was also very clean and the nearest public transport is just about 100 m away.

The place was very clean and there was bottled water and a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The location has a good connection so it's not hard to go downtown.
We could hear the people in the next room but I liked the place nonetheless.

The property was grossly overpriced. It was too small, which cannot be visualized from the photos and descriptions provided. I don't recommend this property at all!
