Absolutely amazing house!! So pleased we chose this property to spend time with our friends and family for new year. Despite the weather, we had a fantastic stay at Dragonstone. Kathryn is a brilliant host, keeping in touch with us ahead of check in as well as welcoming us personally at check-in. The house itself is very beautiful, so much care has been taken to give it all the personal touches that you could want away from home. It has the most well equipped kitchen of any place we've stayed before. We will definitely be looking to stay again xx

I booked this property for my husbands 40th birthday. There was 12 family members and 3 dogs who came along for the stay. The cottage Dragonstone was absolutely stunning!! The cottage itself was immaculate, and absolutely everything was catered for. We was short of nothing to make our 4 night stay a home from home trip. The hot tub was a massive hit with everyone. The surrounding views are stunning and walks out with our dogs were a treat. Kathryn the host was brilliant. She had lots of information about the local area. She met us on arrival and went through all the workings of the cottage to make our stay more comfortable. She even left a gift and card for my husband which was a very kind and personal touch. Kathryn always answered my messages when I contacted her via VRBO. Wonderful stay for all of our family and everyone had so much fun making memories. I would highly recommend this holiday rental, and would definitely consider returning in the future. Thank you again to Kathryn for the amazing hospitality.

We stayed here for a couple of nights after our daughters wedding at Craig Yr Nos Castle. What an amazing property, we didn’t want to leave. Dragon Stone is very well equipped with everything you could need and extremely comfortable. The views are breathtaking with amazing sunrises. Kathryn was great with communication and even bought the newly weds a gift. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality we will definitely be returning.

The property catered for all age groups and was super enjoyed by all 10 guests. The views were stunning, the property was immaculate, well stocked, there was nothing that we needed extra. It was situated in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere, but only a couple of kilometres from a major supermarket. The property owner(s) were kind and courteous. We would definitely recommend this holiday getaway to everyone.

Lovely large house great for family get togethers. Superb garden and views. Very well equipped kitchen for the chefs in the group! Easy to access local attractions from this property- waterfall/caves/zip wire etc.

This is an ideal property for a family holiday. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The garden is large and well-maintained with big play areas for children. The area is beautiful and has lots of places of interest such as the National Show Caves. Beaches are easily reached as is the attractive city of Swansea. One travel tip: avoid the Heads of the Valley road as it is being upgraded over a long stretch.

We booked Dragonstone as a group of 13 and I will without a doubt return to this fantastic property. Kathryn was great with communication, answering questions or general assistance. The property itself is beautifully presented with an abundance of space. Kathryn was so kind with her little touches and even remembered that we were arriving on my daughter's birthday and kindly bought her a gift. We were situated in the centre of stunning beaches, incredible mountainous views and even some great walks to view the three Waterfalls. Overall every single member of the party had nothing but praise for our stay and we cant wait to come back. Our highlight was without a doubt the bubbly hot tub and stunning views....the stuff of dreams when you live in the city. Thank you Kathryn from me and all the family .....especially the kids.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was amazing, the photos don’t do it justice. I have never been in such a well equipped house. There was everything you could think of and more. The garden was also beautiful and plenty of chairs. The views were beautiful. I would definitely come back to this house and would also highly recommend it. We had the best break at Dragonstone! The house is clean and spacious with stunning views from every window. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and even left a welcome basket with Welsh cakes and tea bags. As we were celebrating 2 special birthdays, Kathryn even left a card and gift for us both - really kind and so appreciated. The hot tub was a real luxury and the games room (plus a wall of boardgames) was enjoyed by all. Location wise this house is perfect as not too far from Swansea city centre but set against the beautiful brecon views - it has it all. A stay in this holiday home is definitely recommended and we are very keen to come back in the future.

We stayed for a long weekend for an extended 4 generations family get-together, great-grandparents through to 3-year old great grandson. All had a great time at this fantastic property - in the hot tub, playing games on the lawn, table tennis, eating from the BBQ… Location is great - feels remote but only 10 minutes from shops. The 3-year old loved playing with the wooden train set and running around the garden. We adults brought with us a lawn croquet set and played that constantly between trips to the hot tub. So much to do without having to leave the property… bliss.

This house is brilliant and definitely has the wow factor with the view of the hills from the back of the house. Well equipped kitchen, great living spaces, comfy bedrooms and all spotless clean. We were a group of 8 golfers and it made a great base for us each day. The house would be brilliant for 2/3 families as well due to how the bedrooms are set up. Not been to South Wales before and it was very scenic. Thanks Kathryn for your hospitality, if we come back to the area I’ll be sure to look for Dragonstone again.

Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, from foil to dishwasher tablets . Utility room, was great there was even washing powder, which we had forgotten to pack . Beds were really comfortable and all bedrooms had great views. Outdoor space was fab for the kids and loads of games to keep them occupied. They were so excited to see the wild horses on the hills around, who stopped by for a short visit ! I would recommend, getting up early one morning to watch the sunrise from the hotub. Plenty to do within a short car journey from beaches, waterfalls, parks . The hill in front of the house is a great little climb. Kathryn quickly replaced the kettle that we broke (sorry) and it was lovely to meet her and to stay at her fabulous property .

The true standout of our stay was the exceptional hospitality, we experienced from the moment we arrived until our departure. The hosts were genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive, making me feel like an honored guest at arrival and departure.

What an amazing house! The pictures really don't do it justice. It's really big and was spotlessly clean. The most generously stocked holiday home we've stayed in. We were a group of couples with young children and it was perfect for us. Kathryn was really responsive and met us there to show us around. It's super modern and the kitchen is so well equipped. Will definitely be coming again and recommending to friends.

We were celebrating a friends 50th and this cottage was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, everything we needed and we loved watching a pair of red kites from the hot tub every evening. This cottage is amazing.

Stayed with 7 adults and 3 children. The property was clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need and it was very well maintained. The view was INCREDIBLE, especially when there was a big, beautiful rainbow whilst we were sat in the hot tub. The pictures don’t do it justice. We went waterfall walking, to a farm and to a country park nearby. Loads of supermarkets, although we ordered a delivery. Electric car charging points 15 mins away. Ooo, the house was lovely and warm; I’m always cold! Great baths, showers and facilities. Great stay for large groups. Highly recommend.

Substantial property with more than enough reception rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped with more than enough utensils and crockery etc. The hot tub is large enough for the number of residents and was easily warm enough even in a January night. Some external lighting by the hot tub would have been useful. Bathrooms and showers were large although one shower didn’t work apparently because a battery needed replacement. Didn’t inconvenience us. Views from the property are outstanding and even with 5 children under 9 we were able to undertake local walks to use up their energy. Beds were comfortable and good quality linen provided.

Fantastic house , everywhere spotless on arrival. Everything you need for a perfect stay - loads of cooking trays and utensils, tons of space for everyone, wall of games for the kids. Hot tub was amazing. Best holiday house we've ever stayed in
