Expansive house located in a quiet residential area. The owner was also incredibly responsive and details oriented, especially with the check-in process. He was also very helpful with suggestions on activities that we could engage in, while in Hermanus. We did not use the pool due to the winter temperatures.

The house shows a bit of age and contains a lot of the owner's personal memorabilia - Not really a drawback, but could be a stress factor when you add a toddler to the mix.

The location was very central to all the places we visited. All facilities that you need were available.

The house is very spacious. The rooms are basic, but served their purpose. The pool and braai area are good, the outside table could do with a sanding down and varnish. There is a ping pong table that you can use. Although there is a pool table, we could not find any cues. There are lots of games in the house, and a field in front of the house to play sports. We walked to town and the tidal pools which was wonderful. The house offers good value for money. We had a fabulous stay!

Location was central close to the beach shops.
