If you're doing some LA sightseeing, this location is fantastic. The neighborhood is fine. The house smells a little like grandma's place, and there were a lot of spiderwebs around the backyard, but it is adorable and has been decorated in a trendy and welcoming way. Overall, we would 100% stay here again and we appreciate everything Aurora did to make us comfortable. She is great with communication!

This place matched the pictures and description. We enjoyed our stay! A new lock on the front gate would be helpful. It is hard to read.

Aurora’s home is gorgeous! It’s perfect for a group to see a concert at the Hollywood bowl, just like we did! Aurora was responsive and helpful with whatever we needed. The house is fully stocked and ready for your stay. It even has some delicious tea and coffee options available as well as shampoo/conditioner. While the neighborhood is kind of sketchy, she creates a sense of safety with high walls, beautiful tree barriers, and securely locked gates. We enjoyed her backyard area in with wine and cheese platters, and again for breakfast…super cute! We will come back again!

This is the place to stay if you want a relaxing, central location in Hollywood. The house is beautiful, comfortable and with enough amenities to make your stay like home. The property is perfect for unwinding. Hang out around the fire pit or relax on the front porch. It feels secluded. And considering you are 1 block from both Sunset and Highland, it is amazingly quiet. We felt very safe here as well. With the gates locked, the property is fully secure. OK. This is Hollywood, people. I grew up in the L.A. area, and I spent most of my free time from 1985 to the late 1990’s getting into trouble here. Yes, you are going to see the occasional unhomed person. But trust me. It is Disneyland compared to those days. But if urban experience is too much for you, maybe Hollywood is not your ideal destination.

The house was charming and well stocked and couldn't have been handier for exploring all the tourist attractions of Hollywood on foot. Hollywood, like many neighborhoods in big cities, is experiencing a significant homeless problem. We developed a route coming and going to the heart of Hollywood Blvd that led us through less impacted streets and even found a lovely, large, grassy park and playground full of happy children and families of sun worshippers just a few blocks away from the house and the Blvd itself. The owner was very accessible and accommodating and our visit was enhanced by the fenced space in the yard for a busy 2 and 1/2 year old and our little dog. Ample parking behind the locked gate was a bonus, as well! We felt very secure in the house...home away from home.

Aurora was readily available and very communicative throughout our stay. The house was clean and within walking distance to everything Hollywood. Would rent again!

Long story short: We loved our stay! The host Aurora was extremely helpful and accommodating to our shifting schedules and needs, the place was very comfortable, clean, and safe, and I would definitely recommend this VRBO. It is proximal to West LA, Hollywood, K-town, USC, etc. My friends and I booked this VRBO for my 20th birthday weekend, and it was exactly what we needed. The 6 of us used this as our home base while we went to the USC vs. UCLA football game and explored West LA. With 5 inbound flights, there was a lot of coordinating, but the host Aurora was very accommodating and even adjusted our check-in time to ease the stress. The place was pristine upon arrival with a few granola bars and hot chocolate packets as a welcome gift (much appreciated as we were starving). There were also some board games and a very nice backyard patio. It is clear that Aurora put a lot of thought and effort into making this a home away from home. There were extra pillows, blankets, comforters, modern heating/cooling, etc. The gates were padlocked and the front door had an electronic deadbolt. It is a comfortable and safe stay in LA and I would happily recommend it!

We came to LA to simply be tourists for a few days. The house is very accurately depicted on the website. What we didn't previously know is that the Hollywood area is a bit sketchy with a lot of homeless camped on the sidewalks and trash everywhere in the streets. The house has good security and can easily handle secured, off-street parking for at least 2 vehicles, maybe 3 smaller vehicles. The owner was very responsive when I had a question. The kitchen was fabulously stocked with all possible tools, gadgets and appliances. All was very clean and in good order. We easily walked to the Hollywood Walk of Fame in less than 10 min (during the day...I wouldn't have walked anywhere at night).

Everything was perfect! The house is immaculate, and decorated as an LA bungalow should be. Bedrooms, beds, furniture, kitchen, bathroom…all lovely and very well stocked. Thanks for the magnifying mirror. Such a thoughtful touch for us “cheater glasses” generation! The backyard is an absolute treasure. Our hostess was amazing. Made sure everything was ok. And we were lucky enough to meet Jeffrey, the best neighbor and go-to person if needed. I will definitely be back many times❤️
