Property is very quiet and secluded

I did not like the crickets and water bugs in my room.

This was my first time staying at a Red Roof and I was a little skeptical. It really exceeded my expectations though. Staff was nice, room was pretty clean and room was stylish.

There was no breakfast.

We rely on Booking.com ratings to help choose suitable rooms. There is no way this should be an 8.4 rated hotel. When driving to our room, it's obvious that parts of the hotel is not being used as old stacks of mattresses are stacked up in rooms. The shower had a handicap seat that couldn't be locked up, so there was no room to move. The room smelled like smoke. The television was half green. We were told to unplug it and plug it back in. That didn't work. Our sheets were stained and didn't seem like they had been changed. Didn't feel good sleeping here.

the property was ok …looked clean.

We tried to use the spa and the water was coming out dirty like pee water. the floors were so dirty that we had black foot prints on the sheets and towels.
