The home was perfect, lake front property with amazing view. The owners were so great and so many options in the house to keep everyone busy. Such a beautiful home and property that allowed us to relax and make memories!

This home was warm, welcoming and wonderful! We especially enjoyed the view and the fire pit! And the owners were so kind in making this a dog-friendly home. We enjoyed bringing our four-legged family members with us! The owners/caretaker thought of everything and were so communicative. There was a slight chance of bad weather and they went above and beyond offering extra amenities to keep us comfortable! You can’t go wrong with this location!

First off, the owner is very responsive, very helpful and communicates well. Can't say enough about the views from this house, all three floors have great views. the house was decorated for Christmas, which was greatly appreciated, and the kitchen was fully stocked for us to create our Christmas dinner. Rooms were large, beds were comfortable and there were sufficient bathrooms in the house. The house was exceptionally clean. 5 star property in every way!

The house is AMAZING! Robert was very eager to answer ANY questions we had, before arrival. The pictures of this house DO NOT do it justice! The whole property is breathtaking. It was very private. There was plenty of room for my wife, me, and my 5 kids. There was enough room where we weren’t tripping over each other. We all had our own spaces. Even though it was cold weather, we still enjoyed our time, inside the house. The kids (and I, hehe) loved the arcade games, pool table, and air hockey. It gave me a chance to teach the kiddos how to play pool. There’s SO much to do outside, as well. My girls and I fished off the dock. There’s numerous places outside to enjoy time together! All you need to bring is the food! The house had EVERYTHING and then some! We had an early Christmas dinner, one night. The dinner table was perfect for my big family. The next night, I made use of the Pellet Grill and grilled out. There’s also a VERY nice fire pit where we built a nice fire and made s’mores! I could go on and on about the property! We can not wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the lake more! The view from the master bedroom is AMAZING to wake up to! Robert is an amazing host! Do NOT hesitate to book Clearwater Shores!!

The eight members of my family and two of our friends stayed over Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. House is beautiful and so is the property. The kitchen is the best equipped rental I have ever seen. The game room was great for when it was raining but we were outside much of the time. Our grandsons are avid fisherman and had a great time catching and releasing catfish, bass & other species right from the dock. They loved it and are already asking when we will come back. Owner and property manager are great at giving local info and helpful advice. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation in this area.

As we ventured for our 2023 Fall Jeep trip, we found a gem on shores of Lewis Smith Lake in Bemen, AL. The property is stunning and has every amenity you need for little piece of paradise. Beautiful scenary, immaculate condition, upgraded to the latest and greatest interior and exterior designs. Super clean and super fun! Very close to Stoney Lonesome Offroad park. However, what made this destination special were the owners, the Ekman's and the property manage Monique. The nicest most accommodating hosts we have ever worked with in the 18 years we have been booking through VRBO.

Clearwater Shores is a beautiful home and property that provided our family and friends a place to make lifelong memories. The house is beautifully furnished and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. There were plenty of games for the kids to play and the arcade was a blast! The views are absolutely incredible from sunrise to sunset. The owners are friendly and were accommodating from the moment we booked the property. They answered any questions and gave recommendations to make our trip even more pleasant. If you’re looking for a place to get away, relax, and enjoy beautiful Smith Lake look no further, Clearwater Shores is the place for you.

The house was beautiful. The owner & caretaker were very helpful. We had a great time! The lake was beautiful as well (our first time). Actually more fun to me than the beach & 10 degrees cooler! We will be back.

This was our first time to visit Smith Lake. Our family had a great time at Clearwater shores for our annual get together! We stayed during the 4th of July, and were 10 minute boat rides to two different firework shows. The property was very nice, with great views of the lake. The rooms are large and you will appreciate the space. We have smaller kids and they loved the game room, along with a safe driveway in the front of the home to ride their bikes back and forth. Bob was very accommodating and made us feel welcome from when we first booked. You can really tell the Ekman’s take pride in their home. We hope to be back soon!

Our visit to Smith Lake did not disappoint. The house and landscaping were immaculate. Also, our family loved all of the places to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The boat dock was accommodating and perfect for our boat. It was nice to be able to leave it under a roof protected. The owners were so kind and responded immediately. The house was so nice with lots of extras to make our trip more comfortable. We will definitely return again and hope to make it an annual trip. Thank you!

My family and I are frequent visitors to Smith Lake and have stayed in over 12 different homes via VRBO. Clearwater Shores is now our favorite as it has a great location in deep water and is wonderfully appointed; with everything from beach towels, to charcoal, to portable speakers. The game room (pool table, air hockey, Golden Tee, Galaga & Ms. Pac Man) was fun for everyone from the teenagers to the 50 year old kids. Bob and Karen are the greatest hosts on Smith Lake. Southern hospitality is their goal and they have more than achieved it.

The house was perfect for our family of grown children and adult siblings. The game room / pool table were the hit of the trip. Also the views cannot be beat! The hosts think of everything you might need and stock the house well. Thank you for a memorable trip!

Absolutely amazing! The home is beautiful and functional. The linens are soft, the furniture is comfy, and there is a place for everyone. Whether you want to sit quietly by yourself, or visit with a large group, this property has multiple areas to do just that! The hosts are incredibly responsive, and interactive making sure our questions were answered and needs were met! We have traveled BnB's for many years, and this one by far stood out for these reasons. We spent a beautiful week in comfort, surrounded by breathtaking scenery in every direction. In addition there were places nearby that were adventurous and picturesque ❤️ Not only are our minds and bodies rested, but they are also overflowing with great memories spent together, fishing, playing games, cooking, sightseeing, and antiquing! As an artist, I will be coming back next time with my paints and easel to capture the "magic" we felt here!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Three couples stayed and we all had comfortable KING beds with amazing views. We were able to bring our dogs and had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy both indoors and outdoors. The porch, fire pit, and lovely cabana were highlights. The kitchen was well stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed the game room! The furniture was so nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean!!! The hosts were so accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend this property!

It was great. Melissa did a very good job coordinating things before and during our visit. The house was just as described - perfect boat access to one of our favorite parts of Smith Lake. Would absolutely stay there again.

The owner has provided everything we could possibly require, communication was very easy. As we entered we felt very welcomed. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the the incredible view, peace and quiet while some went swimming in the lake. This place is very clean and comfortable and has everything you could need. My two siblings and I did an end of summer, long weekend with our spouses and kids at this home and it was perfect. There were 5 adults and 6 kids and everyone fit comfortably. The basement had activities to keep the kids occupied for hours on the days it rained. The kitchen table was big enough for us all to sit and eat together. We loved that there were a lot of king size beds so all of us adults slept comfortably. There were lots of pillows as well, which I loved, a lot of places seem to skimp on the pillows. The house is in excellent shape and very clean. There is a new deck and stairs. You can’t see in the picture but there is also two grassy areas (we played bocce on one) and a fire pit with six chairs around it. We fished off the dock and had a lounge day on it as well where we floated in rafts. There was also a huge raft pad in the garage the owner let us use. We rented a boat two of the days we were there and there was a tube in the garage we were able to use as well. The owner’s communication was perfect. She was always super quick to respond and very helpful. We would book with her again for sure. The only bad part is I wish we had stayed a few more days! :)

We stayed here with our 4 children and my sister and her husband and 3 children...the accommodations were perfect! Melissa was easy to communicate with and very helpful! We cooked most of our meals right there and the kitchen is well stocked with the things you need for that..all in all a great stay at Smith Lake once again!

Wonderful and peaceful location. Amazing views and the home has everything you need. Great for a weekend getaway for a couple or for 2 or 3 couples and kids. Big house. Boat dock is nice. Just a good place to get away.
