The breakfast was continental style with all needs supplied and fresh ingredients. The facilities were first rate, and a desirable place to stay. unfortunately one night was not enough.
No complaints, the accommodation could not be faulted.

The bed was large and comfy, the bathroom and shower was spacious. The place was very clean. Laundry facilities were a bonus. TV was a good size and with Wifi for Netflix/Disney etc. Carpark right out the front was great.
Location felt private, the peace and quiet was nice!
We stayed for a couple days and the room did not get serviced each day. (Not sure if servicing the room each day is a service they offer, but it is expected).
The breakfast was not generous, we found a local supermarket to buy more toilet paper, bread, milk, juice and butter.
Everything felt staged and like we were not allowed to use or touch anything, so we were never at ease. Not a feeling you want when you are on holidays!

The property was awesome so nice and quite large inside doesn’t look that big from inside but wow what a surprise. So clean and the bed was comfortable and a great shower. Loved the decor wish we could have stayed another night but when I booked I couldn’t only get the one night but would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. It is a little bit from the main centre to walk but Ubers were so quick and u were there in no time so you could go in town and have a drink. Thanks for a great stay.

A great place to stay as a couple wanting to escape the big city vibe. The history of the place is great and the renovations to make the venue a livable space are amazing. Definitely recommend!

Beautifully decorated and appointed property. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property. The decor was lovely and not overdone with kitsch.
A small comendium on "how to" would have been nice for us non tech people.

Very cosy, comfortable accommodation that has been beautifully renovated. Perfect for a couple for a few days.
You probably need a car, but parking is easy, and you are only a few minutes from excellent restaurants and shops.
Jess was very easy to contact when needed, and very helpful.

Beautiful, stylish couples hideaway. Spacious and extremely comfortable bed and couch. Perfectly positioned for convenience. Lovely, little touches to make you feel special, like chocolates.
We felt cold in the living area. So much so we had to sit on the lounge covered in a blanket. We went to bed early because it was warmer. We wanted to watch the cricket, so a TV in the bedroom would have been great. Ballarat is renowned for being cold, it seemed unfair the heating couldn't be adjusted.

All the facilities at Cash Butcher were fantastic. The newer furniture is really comfortable. The heating was great for a very cold Ballarat weekend. Wonderful range of breakfast provisions provided.
A couple of minor repairs required like the tap in the bathroom sink, leaky tap in shower and a heating light needs replacing in the bathroom. All minor and easily fixed and did not affect our stay greatly.

It was absolute bliss to walk into and see such a clean, inviting, stylish and welcoming space to stay. It had everything you needed and more - so generous. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. I didn’t want to leave, I felt like I was at home. I highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

The house was decorated beautifully and had so many gorgeous touches like little biscuits supplied and coffee pods . I have never stayed at such a well appointed house. It was extremely comfortable.
Nothing could have been better. It was much more than I expected ! I will definitely be coming back.

Amazed to open the front door of a fairly inconspicuous house in a quiet street wonderfully close to the city and be confronted by a super high spec living/kitchen. The bathroom and bedroom were equally luxurious and the cherry on the top was the little green, tree-lined courtyard out back where we enjoyed our glass of wine each evening.
BTW Pancho's South American restaurant down the main street was a sensory experience for dinner!

Very impressed with how this has been designed. Very spacious and relaxing.
We would have preferred the butter, bread, spreads and cereal to be
individually packed instead of provided in shared containers that had been used.

The apartment was beautifully styled and so welcoming. The outdoor area was perfect for a drink after our long drive.
Breakfast was cereal juice bread and spreads. Would love to have had coffee pods for the coffee machine but coffee bags were available.
We had a problem with the washing machine which looked brand new but kept coming up with an error. The owner did contact us to apologise but it meant we had a bag of soapy wet clothes as we continued our journey. I am sure it is now rectified.
My other suggestion would be to offer coffee pods and something other than white bread.
I only make these suggestions as the apartment is so gorgeous and everything is comfortable and welcoming and we would definitely stay there again.
