The property is amazing, it’s hard pressed for me to give anything a 5.0 BUT I gave this place a 5.0 however I did not like the fact we could not keep the doors open and was not a huge fan of the camera on the back deck, I probably should’ve reached out to the owner, hence a 5.0. However, It is very clean, well stocked, very quiet, and the owner was extremely responsive to anytime we needed!! The beach views are awesome, we all agree we would definitely book this again!!

This has been one of my favorite vacation rental experiences to-date. This beachfront home is “one of a kind” and I am so thankful that the owners make it available for others to enjoy. The picture windows (and spacious / comfortable deck) offer breathtaking panoramic views of gorgeous New Smyrna Beach. The interior open concept on the first floor is perfect for spending quality time with family (reading, talking, eating, playing games). I loved the comfortable bedroom and well-equipped bathroom combos on each of the two floors. My daughters thought climbing the spiral staircase to their “master suite” was charming. The (namesake) turtle lore throughout “Bob’s Bungalow” offered interest throughout the stay. The host, Crystal, was one of the most generous and accommodating with whom I’ve had the pleasure to interact. Every detail is considered and superbly executed. You get the feeling that she cares deeply about her guests and goes to great lengths to ensure they are cozy and comfortable in their “home away from home”. I look forward to the next stay!

A dream come true! This property was perfection from all the views, decor, convenience, and location to the beach and also surrounding Flagler Avenue for shopping and restaurants. Bob, the bungalow’s namesake, put in several appearances during our stay. The outdoor shower was so nice for coming in from the beach and washing our shells we collected. Every detail was above and beyond and much appreciated. The welcoming gifts were a nice and thoughtful touch as well. Would recommend this property for anyone looking for a special place to stay at NSB and will be coming back again. You really want for nothing and we definitely packed too much. Loved the book and game selections and the spiral staircase was a hit! (Watch out for no-see-ums in the early morning and late evenings. Not sure if they come out at certain times of the year but be prepared with something to repel them) In summary, look no further for your dream vacation location! This is it and you won’t regret it! We have stayed at this property a few times now but this was our first stay since Crystal purchased it. She took a beautiful home and really elevated it. It feels fresh, new and like home away from home. We really appreciated the collection of books and games when we had some rough weather and had to stay in. We will definitely be back for another stay!

If you're searching for beach rentals in NSB, you can stop looking. This house is perfect, absolutely the ideal location for our family of 4 (+ Golden Retriever), and the level of hospitality is unmatched. We truly felt like we were staying at the home of a close friend, from the much-appreciated welcome basket (bottle of wine & charcuterie after a LONG drive from Chicago - yes please!), the perfect beach decor, and anything else you could possibly need for your stay. Everything is brand new and stocked in abundance, from the cookware, lotions & toiletries, pet accessories, pack 'n plays, beach entertainment - you name it, Crystal, the owner, has thought of EVERYTHING for your stay. If you want to sit on the deck and watch the sunrise, the fully-equipped coffee station and large deck await; If you want to hit the beach, grab some toys, wave boards, and a beach umbrella from the "beach closet" and the sand is just outside the door; If you want to explore the local area (NSB, Dunes Park, Canaveral, restaurants), they're all a 5-10 minute drive. Even Daytona is only 20 minutes. And despite staying there during the height of spring break, Bob's Bungalow always felt private and secluded. One more thing, there's a gopher tortoise den on the property, and "Bob" sightings became a part of our daily routine. We can't wait to go back!

The moment we walked through the door our mouths dropped open in awe. This beach cottage is exactly as described and as the pictures depict. It's quaint, but not small, unique, and tasteful (without being fussy). The location is great, direct ocean front, close to excellent restaurants and Flagler Avenue, and not too close to high-rise condos. I agree with another reviewer that while we LOVED staying at Bob's Beach Bungalow, and Crystal is an absolute dream to work with, we want to keep this gem a little hidden for our own selfish reasons to be able to stay here again, and frequently. Crystal truly has thought of everything you might want or need for a beach stay and has provided more than "the basics". Everything is good quality and in ample supply. Truly a home away from home. We are already planning another visit in a few months.

I can’t say enough great things about Bob’s beach bungalow. From the moment we booked communication was fast and efficient. Check-in was a breeze. Location was amazing! Right on the beach but an easy walk for our teenager to walk down to Flagler. The place is adorable and stocked with everything that you may need and definitely an A+ for cleanliness! So grateful for a great place that accepts dogs! We loved it so much that we already booked another stay!

Such a unique & charming beach house located right on the beach. This home owner has thought of everything that one might need up to the smallest detail. From the moment you walk in with the welcome basket & goodies you know your about to envoke upon a amazing retreat. The decor is so kitchsey & everywhere you look you see fun accents full of beach vibes. I couldn’t stop snapping pictures of all the decor. The views of the beach are stunning & loved waking up & seeing the ocean. Loved everything about this unique home & it’s just so peaceful that it was hard to leave to actually go do other activities while on vacation. Already planning our return trip. Owner is very accommodating & love that we were able to bring our two small lap dogs & that this home even caters to FIDO. Hoping to get back very soon. Just don’t want to rave too much about it as I’m selfish & want to be able to get a resy whenever we want. Lol 5 stars

Excellent location on the beach; could easily walk down to the ocean. Great view from the spacious deck overlooking the water. Inside it was clean, comfortable and with a beach themed decor. Tons of stocked items in the kitchen and bathrooms really enhanced the experience. Convenient location to get to the cute downtown with lots of restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you from our entire group!!

House was exactly as advertised and owner/manager was excellent with instructions and details, etc. and readily available to answer questions. Lengthy drive for us but well worth it and hope to be able to visit again in the future. Scott

This is the second time staying here right on the beach. Clean, inviting, beach views from every window. Perfect getaway with direct beach access and close to everything. Couldn’t ask for a better place to get away from it all. Highly recommend.

This is a great home on the beach. It's nice that it is pet-friendly, although Volusia County beaches are not pet-friendly and the neighborhood is not conducive to dog walking. Otherwise, a great choice for a stay at the beach.

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend at Bob's Turtle nest. The home is comfortable with an amazing location. We also got to meet Bob the Turtle and his friend.

We booked in advance. Our only problem is my husband didn’t receive the codes to get in until we were there waiting. Otherwise the entire experience was wonderful! The house is full of charming and delightful surprises from the design, the decor and the location! Thank you for having so many basic items to help us settle in!! Loved it!

Any time we are able to escape to the beach for a Family vacation, it is a total win! What makes it better is if the dogs can be included (there is an amazing and huge beach dog part just ~15 min away) and our kids have their own room to share and my wife and I have our own space as well. This accommodation provided all of that and more. Prior to our stay we had never been to NSB and we left saying that we would definitely go back at some point in the future. The downtown area is cute and we were able to find some real gems in terms of restaurants and shops. The hosts of the property were great and very responsive and we appreciated all the thoughtful details that the house had to offer. The pics you see posted are exactly what we walked into. Beautiful, clean, simple and beachy. That's what we wanted for our stay, and that's exactly what we got!! You won't regret this destination if you're looking for a laid back beach vibe full of charm.

Very relaxing location with a great deck and fully equipped home. Our situation worked well with one couple in the loft - others may not like that layout.

This is the perfect location !! Easy Beach access. Perfect views from the whole house. Ken was so easy to contact, and was "on top" of any questions we had. The house had everything we needed to make out stay GREAT !!!!!
