Location was good. Staff at check in was friendly and helpful.
No microwave or refrigerator in room. Drapes had holes in them and the lights illuminating the building shown into our room.

Starbucks.
1 night check in 4pm check out 11 but got kicked out by maid at 950am, for 270.00!!! Bed hard, 2 sheets for blankets, pillows flat as pancakes, sticky carpet in room, noisy AF at night!! Staff rudest I have ever dealt with in a casino!!

When I booked the hotel I booked a king room. When we checked in they didn’t have any king rooms they put us in a pet room. The pet room smelled. I went to the front desk to change rooms then they put us in a room with 2 double beds. We woke up to the ceiling leaking water. The dealers at the blackjack tables were not friendly one of the dealers could not do math she kept messing up bit paying out when she was supposed to taking peoples chips when she should not have. We will not stay here again.

There was no breakfast unless you had a platinum or maverick card and no buffet
I’ve machine was broke on our floor and the pop machine was empty. The one elevator in the parking garage wouldn’t work. The first keys they gave us didn’t work and we had to return them. No parking to register. We had so much unnecessary walking and I use a cane.we had to buy our drinks at the bar, we didn’t see a cocktail waitress in the 4 or more hours we played the slots and the blackjack tables. Overall it was not a good time for the money.

Location
Room is VERY outdated. Took 7 minutes of running the water before it would get warm. The mattress was worn out. The room was very dark. The alarm clock kept making noises. The parking garage had music blaring. Smells like urine in some spots of the hall.

The hotel is clean. We had an issue and the staff was very helpful.
It was clean and comfortable. There is a Starbucks in the lobby that was really nice and convenient. We grabbed a couple of coffee’s as we headed out for the day.

The DJ and dancing were fun.
It started when my husband tried to check us in... The front desk person tried to tell him we had to pay over $100.00 more in resort fees than I had already paid with Booking.Com. Including a $40.00 "Towel fee" and a "Weekend" fee." I had to go in with my verification from Booking.Com to check in. The person who helped me was very nice and helpful and we were not charged any extra.. The Nugget has really gone downhill since we stayed there last. The place is run down and very little maintenance. Our room was musky and smelled like BO. The air conditioning in the room barely worked. It had a floor lamp with no shade on it(obviously been broken), they do not offer the coffee maker in your room anymore, no ice bucket, which is ok, because not one ice machine worked in the tower on any of the floors,) no pictures on the walls, and the carpet was raveled and pulling up in our room, the hallways, and throughout the casino. Bar service was non-existent, and they no longer carry the supplies to make Strawberry Daiquiri's.

Nothing
Dirty, in need of renovation, overpriced for what you get.

Price of the room was the highest we paid on our trip across country and the room was the filthiest. Drain in the sink didn’t work. Called for an extra blanket because the heater didn’t work and was told they didn’t have anyone up there to get one. Carpet was nasty holes in the curtains. All around rip off for the price.

The beds are hard, our room had trash on the floor when we checked in, the a/c was not working correctly, & the whole (smoking) floor smelled like people smoking weed. Just glad we didn’t spend much time in our room.

We loved that it was affordable. It’s as good a location as any in wendover. I go out to play slots for fun, not for money and there were a lot of fun machines. I also love the center garden area. The Starbucks was affordable and delicious and the gal working there was a doll.
I didn’t mind the old condition of the walls, pain, drapes etc, or even the subpar beds. I DID mind there not being hot water to shower…..ice cold. not sure if it was a broken handle or actual lack of water. I also was shocked that 3 machines broke in the middle of my fun game.
But they really big problem in that entire facility is that the staff simply doesn’t care. There is little apology. I waited for up to 30 minutes 3 times to get my money back from broken machines with little to no apology. And when I spoke with the receptionist about the water, she shrugged it off like it was a normal thing.
It makes me sad because the place has so much potential.

Usually a good experience with staff. However some security staff were completely unprofessional...
Shower didn't have hot water, suite was in bad shape. Wallpaper falling off, water leak on tub causing mold around jet tub. For the price is a suite should be better maintained!!!!!!!!! Asked for a credit or comp due to shower and room issues, however was ignored.. stayed in this suite several times now and is in poor condition. This property needs some overdue maintenance..
Additionally there was a medical emergency downstairs near the poker room. Had to assist and not one staff is trained properly in basic basic fist aid...

The staff was nice.
it was nice when we first got there. The front desk people gave us our key and directions we went on our way. Go on the elevator, which was a huge joke, having only one elevator working. we got to the fourth floor and about shit her pants when the elevator door opened all the lights were out, the ceiling tiles were missing there was wires hanging from the ceiling. There was spackle and paint all over the floor. I can honestly say I felt like I was going into a horror, film me and my girlfriend walk down the hallway, a little bit to see what was going on, as we walked down the hallway, we could see all the new construction that you guys are doing. The windows were wide-open good thing no one was suicidal.
We were so scared that we went back down to the office, and the ladies told us that there was nothing to worry about and that they would help us get to our room. They were wonderful women to help us try to find another way to our room unfortunately it took a really long time because they didn’t even know how to find the elevator on the other side of the hotel that they work at. When me and my girlfriend finally got to the elevator went to the fourth floor went down the creepy hallway to the very end room 474. I’ll never forget it as we walk through the door. It was mortifying to know that we paid as much as we did for a suite.
I wasn’t going to let that ruin my night, so me and my girlfriend got ready to go out and when we left, we followed the signs that said elevator lo and behold we had to walk through all of the construction to get to the elevator. I am not one to complain , but I find it extremely disturbing. When you have open windows construction going on I just was really unhappy and I will never stay at the nugget again.

the convenience of location
on booking.com it says it’s pet friendly and that’s why we booked there but we arrived and they told us they weren’t. aside from being pretty rude about it luckily the manager let us stay, but they only had one working elevator, the skywalk was down, the rooms were in pretty bad shape, and they had very limited parking. we had a place to sleep so I guess that was the only benefit
