It was available at short notice.
The bed - basically a pile of polyester doused in foul smelling deodoriser over a broken mattress. I slept upside down on my side with my clothes as a pillow to mask the perfumed stink from the bedding.
Be aware the ‘Lake View’ is from across the car park, over the road out front, through the powerlines in front of the industrial farm sheds / its in the mid distance really. We felt a bit ripped off - it wasn’t very honest we thoughT. Maybe ‘Lake Glimpse’?

Beautiful B&B with the loveliest hosts! I wish we’d had another night at this special stop. We couldn’t have imagined a nicer place to stay for the evening.

David was an excellent host - very friendly and shared his knowledge of things to do in the surrounding areas. Comfortable room, and an amazing breakfast of Nutella crepes and lots more!

Great location and FABULOUS place to stay! The room was terrific, and the bathrooms were SO clean and beautiful - they were sparkling clean! Breakfast was DELICIOUS, and the owners David & Doreen were so nice and very cordial. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to stay! Exceeded my expectations - BEAUTIFUL FACILITY - Breakfast room is gorgeous.

All great. We had a fab time. Staff absolutely lovely. Very comfortable, quiet and extremely clean rooms. Location fantastic. Plenty of parking.
The vegetarian breakfast lacked meat substitutes, e.g. soya sausages, but were otherwise delicious with plenty of continental options available.

A superbly run and maintained guesthouse. David and Doreen were excellent hosts. Quite simply one of the best places I have ever stayed in. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

The scenery from our room was breathtakingly beautiful.
Extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean room and ensuite.
Breakfast was delicious.
David shared his extensive local knowledge with us including places to eat and day trips.
Very enjoyable stay overall.
Looking forward to a return visit....

The house was lovely and owners very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. Loved having a sitting area included in the room. Very high end B&B, worth a pampered getaway!
Was a bit out of town. Required a car to drive to town thus need for a designated driver. Not great options for taxi/cab.
