Roros itself is a nice little town to spend 2 days. If you've seen the mine and the main street there is not much to see in the city itself. The hotel is located in the center, which is good for short walks to the mine and the main street starts right there.

The hotel looks like the pictures on the website in the entrance area and the breakfast room, but as soon as you go up to the floors to your room, the style suddenly changes. It is a bit outdated. The service staff is very friendly, but I expect in a city that also attracts international guests, especially in winter, that English is also spoken in the breakfast room. When you order scrambled eggs and get fried eggs, not even the basics work. The noise in the rooms is very loud. You can hear the neighbours very well and especially the pub on Saturday if you have a room directly above. It was so loud that it was impossible to sleep. The reaction of the hotel was also rather bad. I complained during the night and was offered a smaller room. I had to report my complaint several times afterwards to get some kind of compensation, which was paid very reluctantly. All in all, next time I would choose my hotel the way I originally thought. The Bergstadens was rather second choice because of friends who wanted to go there.

Good food with fresh cooked eggs to order. Room was in the main street across from the train station but was quiet with no road traffic. Friendly staff.

The location is just perfect and the common sitting area by the reception is just awesome. The lady at the reception were great and were very helpfull

The breakfast menu was small but was decent. the toilet door was broken.

I like the old with new. The manager was especially nice. We chated with him awhile.

Not the hotels fault but there were not any places to eat (except pizza). We discovered a bakery that had wonderful soup and bread.

they are in the middle of upgrades, so getting around is a little inconvenient-more stairs than usual.

The room was nice. You don't get a key, but a code for the door - that can be convenient. The hotel is located right across the road from the train station.

The bathroom is VERY old and outdated.

Easy to find and enough parking, breakfast was really good .

Very good location. Nice breakfast. The shower in the bathroom was good. Easy to check in and out (pin code for the door).

The free car charger did not work, the woman in the reception did not take any actions. A bad smell in the room, smell from the kitchen and the smell you get when it has been to much moisture for a long time.
