The cabins that way stayed for two nights definitely exceed our expectations. The descriptions on Expedia turned out to be an understatement of the humanities that the place actually provides. For example in our cabin there is a full kitchen with cookware, utensils, fridge, microwave, coffee and tea. These amenities are also provided in the community room which is one minute walk from our cabin. The view from our cabin living room is the canal which is really beautiful. The staff there was very helpful and accommodating. We also took advantage of their kayak rental and did kayaking in the canal. The only thing I felt wasn't the best is that this place is right by highway 101, therefore at night you could hear the cars driving by and sometimes even feel the vibration. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. It was only a 30-minute drive to Olympic national Park staircase rapids, another short drive to high steel bridge which is a historic landmark, a few minutes drive to potlatch State Park. There are some dining options close by as well. Overall we had a great stay at this property.

The check in process was quick and easy. The room was very spacious and clean. The property had laundry and even sold ice. The bed was comfortable and all of the amenities you could need were in the room. Friendly front desk service too!

The view from our balcony overlooking the beautiful bay was great. The hotel is very close to Hoodsport, a great small Victorian town where you can find very good restaurants, stores, and our favorite ice cream shop. The employees and the owner were very friendly and helpful. We did not have our dog with us this time, but we could see that pets are more than welcome.

The cabin upgrade was amazing. Beautiful view and access of the waterfront. Very comfortable couch by bay window in the cabin. Nice kitchen and dining room and separate bedroom. Close parking to cabin door. We had seals right in front of the cabin in the water.

It is a beautiful location on the canal. We had a 2 bedroom room with kitchen. It is very spacious and well laid out. It was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Good location on Highway 101. Would stay again and recommend to others.

I loved the property , It was next to water, , Be was comfortable, It just that AC was not working as expected but they had a fan.

The room was newly renovated with AC. Beautiful wood floors and mini kitchen. The deck table and chairs comfortable. The view of the water and Olympic mts. were breathtaking.We saw many bald eagles and other wildlfe. The grounds were impeccable, well maintained. The hanging flower baskets and flower bowls were stunnning.The staff were very friendly too. We’ll be back.

Everything was good.

My Mom and I stayed here for one night. It was a very pleasant stay. We checked in after 8 pm. The hotel staff called me and provided the room number and code to enter room. The room was clean, no carpet in room, plenty of space, beds are comfortable enough. The mini fridge is a good size with freezer and fridge. The view is beautiful. Even though it is right on HWY 101 there is almost zero road noise in the room. I am planning on staying here again and would easily recommend this location.

Our room has a balcony overlooking Hood Canal. We saw lots of fireworks from our balcony.

Good property. Everything was great including the place and the view of the lake. But the restriction related to flexibility in checkout is disappointing even though we were with them for 2 days. They were asking for $25 for even half an hour of extension.

Grounds and staff are nice, but be mindful the “Comfort Cabins” bedroom face the road and have your pillows about 50 feet from the highway and the room is lit up like daylight from the street lights. Cheap blackout shades would go a long way but not much that can be done from the extreme road noise. Also, beds are about as comfortable as sleeping on the ground. And the “canal view”? Do you mean 5th wheel travel trailer view? Yes, the RV camp sites are positioned in front of the cabins. People were nice, but no privacy. Overall, lots of potential, but wouldn’t plan on staying here again.

Property is a cute roadside motel with some RV and cabin rentals as well. It is right on the hood canal so you get some great views. It was a super short stay but the room was clean and comfortable.
