I’m so glad I chose Locals Taghazout Surfcamp for my stay! Their hospitality and warm welcome truly made me feel at home. The place is amazing and impeccably clean. The rooftop restaurant is absolutely wonderful, offering a breathtaking view. It’s such a treat to enjoy a meal while admiring the stunning sunrise and sunset views. I only spent 2 nights here, unfortunately, but next time I’ll definitely come back! Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!

I had an amazing stay at Locals Taghazout Surfcamp! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the surf lessons were top-notch, and the vibe was super relaxed. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and the accommodations were comfortable, with a nice rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy your meal with the sunset. Highly recommend for anyone looking to surf and experience Taghazout!

Die Bäder sind gemeinschaftlich genutzt aber leider etwas herunter gekommen. Ein Badezimmer hatte keinen funktionierenden Duschkopf. Das frühstück ist simpel

While we're usually super easygoing about our accommodation, this hostel was a bit of a disappointment. Upon arrival, the welcome was anything from inviting or friendly. Next, we were both put into a 6-bed dorm while we had specifically chosen (this hostel for) the 4-bed dorms that we had selected and paid for.
The pictures on Booking are definitely a bit deceiving, as the seafront views are quite terrible from some rooms and the hostel isn’t really beachfront. The hostel is also quite massive and therefore didn't have the vibe we were hoping for.
The rooms themselves are alright. Power sockets are limited and the bathroom isn't the cleanest, some doors don’t lock, but the beds are comfy.

Mon séjour au surf hostel a été des plus agréables. L'établissement est d'une propreté impeccable, et l'accueil chaleureux de Rachid et Karim a véritablement marqué mon expérience. La proximité de l'auberge avec la plage, à seulement 5 minutes à pied, constitue un avantage considérable pour les passionnés de surf. Je recommande vivement cet hostel pour son ambiance conviviale et la qualité exceptionnelle du service offert par son équipe."

The beds were comfortable
Wanted a sociable hostel experience and didn’t get one. If you want to socialise on a roof terrace with a mix of travellers and locals, this is not the place. The staff were friendly enough but it wasn’t the experience I was expecting as I’ve been to tagaZhout several times before.

this is my first time in taghazout and this hotel was recommended by a friend
it has everything i needed , surfshop with brand new boards and wetsuits for as cheap as 10 euros a day

The terrace is an independent coffee/restaurant where you re only allowed there free of charge in the slow times like early in the morning after that you must eat / drink or pay tickets for the shows they do there . It s practically like they don t actually have a terrace .
There s no active kitchens where u can heat up your food or make something not even a coffee or tea , just fridges.
And because these two critical things being non existent I think the prices is alot to pay for what you get .

The lady at check-in was really nice
My room was boiling hot like an oven. I was really struggling to breathe, and there were no fans/a.c so I literally couldn't stay here and had to check out right away. I just didn't feel comfortable there at all. From what I saw (the very short time I was there) the place seemed quite soulless/no atmosphere/other travellers. (Although I did walk past one evening and it sounded like it was busy with some loud local music being played on the rooftop). The photos don't match with reality in my opinion.

Super friendly staff and a nice location.
We didnt get the room we booked. We paid for a room with balcony but they put us in the cheaper room. Also there was a construction site just right infront of the Hotel. During the weekend there were parties that were loud.

the hotel location is very very nice and we had a little balcony with view on the sea. the breakfast area is beautiful and the staff is very very nice and helpful. Especially the young guy at the reception

This place is amazing, we really liked the balcony, it’s a perfect spot to chill, enjoy breakfast and the best sunsets 🏜
We stayed for a week in a dorm room with seaview, it was all clean and the beds are really really comfy compared to other hostels.
It s a perfect place to meet a lot of young travelers and it’s situated close to the beach, the famous skatepark and the center of the city.
In the same building there is also a shop and a pizzeria.
Best part of the hostel ? The staff
They are all so kind and ready to give you advices and help 🙏
If we will come back to Morocco , we will for sure stay again at this place 🤙🏻🇲🇦

The photos we saw when booking were great, but the reality turned out to be quite different.
The room was very crude, not at all cozy, with just one electrical socket, with windows overlooking the neglected yard.
- The worst was the bathroom - what on the photos seemed clean and bright, was a 1x1 m neglected shower
- The place was not clean, a lot of dust in the room and we also found a cockroach.
- The breakfast a little basic and limited portions.
- The location on the booking doesn’t match.
- All in all the price and value didn’t really match - we found a decent hotel in Agadir for a better price

The staff was partly friendly and tried to make the best out of it
Room in terrible condition. Door to balcony could not be locked. Many things were broken, especially in the bathroom. No toilet paper, no towels. Breakfast was next to the street with heavy smell (cats) and not on the rooftop. Pictures and ratings (several times from a Samantha) seem to be fake. Management was traditional and atmosphere is not what surfer dudes expect.
