The interior is nice even though many things should be washed. It has a cool vibe because there are a lot of young people and children. But you won't sleep well for the same reason. The breakfast was great. The host and staff were nice and friendly.

It was my first time in riad, it was very humid like a basement. Some people may like it, but I developed a terrible cough that's still with me. The host could change the company that does the cleaning for this riad, the blankets had body odour, the toilet and shower were dirty, both long and short black hair were on beds, sheets, shower, toilet.

The staff were very helpful and attentative. Great breakfast, and they treated all guests to an evening meal. The Riad itself is beautiful and has terrace with a 360 view of the medina. Free drinks on arrival and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

fast and easy communication on whatsapp after making a reservation. Very nice and friendly stuff ( Nassim and Zakaria). Really big and rich breakfast. And if u r lucky enough u might experience authentic moroccan dinner (for free).

It was rather a hostel than riad.

First of all shout out to the staff and maids that makes the place clean every day really respect to those ladies, I really enjoyed my time there was really amazing to see beautiful design of the riad which really different from other places. The staff really caring about the guest and freshing the whole guests with delicious juice and for free. Best of the best 👌.

Some scammers are constantly outside the hostel. The area next to the toilet in the dorms can get smelly.

Calm place in the middle of medina. The staff was very kind , Medi and Zak very helpful people. Breakfast and dinner are amazing. If anytime in Fez, I book again.

breakfast starts way too late (9:30am). so if you are exploring the city in the morning, you will miss it out. The kitchen at the common area was super dirty all the time, I asked to use the fridge and it was gross! there was no hand soap int he bathrooms.

The breakfast was plentiful and filling. Our room was large and spacious. The wifi was pretty good. The staff were friendly and had cool events. They were very inclusive and community oriented. They had a good ambience. The location was convenient to get anywhere. Very pet friendly. Love the views from the rooftop terrace. I would love to come back.

Our bathroom smelled of sewage, however I understand that there was not much the staff can do.

Breakfast was good and location is great, but that's all I have to say that's good about this place.

I was offered a tea at check-in, which was great, but once given the tea the guy working forgot about me and talked to his friend for some time. I had to interrupt to ask to check in so I could go to my room. He didn't have change and told me he'd give it to me later, but never did so I had to ask at checkout since he forgot. I learned at check-in that there was a 12am curfew which in fairness was listed on booking.com, but I hadn't noticed it and wasn't pleased to learn about. The room itself was fine, though the bathroom smelled awful, one of the lights was flickering, and the pillows were so hard I woke up after the first night with a sore neck. That was after I was able to fall asleep... since everyone had to be inside by 12am, people hung out on the roof playing music and talking until late, which was just above my room. And breakfast was also on the roof, so noise started earlier than I would have liked. The coffee at breakfast was awful. After breakfast the first day I went back to my room to rest for a bit and was disturbed by very loud construction inside the riad. I had planned to do some remote work but was completely unable to. I left the riad at 1:30pm and returned at 5pm and the work was still being done. Again, not much good to say about this place. I imagine as a hostel, for the price it's great. But for a private room, they're charging too much for all of the issues that came up.

Amazing location, good breakfast, nice room.

Owner very helpful, but not present in hostel. Helping staff a bit confused and could not give that many advice about where/when to go at different attractions and how to get to train station.

really great staff- Zachariyah is a great host and has amazing local knowledge. the room I had initially booked was under renovation and they upgraded me at no cost for me. really solid community of travellers in the hostel

like many hostels, it can be a bit loud quite late, and noise often goes until 12 or 1am. this is normal for hostels but worth bearing in mind.

Honestly this hostel is perfect except we all gonna agree that the chairs at the very top rooftop are unbearable to sit on 😂 we all found it funny but worth a mention bc it would thoroughly improve peoples experience up top where you get the great views :)

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Fresh fruit, sandwich, local foods and cereal - it really set us up for the day and kept us full until lunch time. Zakaryae was so welcoming, it was great to get to know him and he was so chatty and making us tea! We had a private room and the bed was comfy.

There weren’t not a lot of showers for the amount of people in the hostel. Luckily we were there during a quieter time

The Riad Verus was one of the best Hostels I've ever been to. The yard and rooftop are just stunning, beds are very comfortable and the included breakfast is really good, they serve you a whole menu including sweet and savory options. Also the stuff is super friendly and it is a very cozy, welcoming and relaxed vibe in the hostel :)

The wifi in the lobby is seriously fast for Morocco hostels +50gb/second, they serve tea if you hangout in the lobby long enough. The breakfast is included and filling. very easy to get out of the Medina from this location. Chill vibe on the Terrace, music and lights turn off close to midnight so that’s good for sleeping.

Breakfast - location were the only good thing;

Completely dirty. The price was really high compared to any other structure. The owner and receptionist were to guys extremely aggressive for no reason. Visited at least 10 different riads, this one was dishonest, dirty and managed by two guys who gave me bad impressions. Price was imbarassing.
