This was the perfect house for our family of 5. Exactly what we expected from the description. We really liked the location! Almost every night we made the short walk to downtown Rapid City. My kids really enjoyed the porch swing. The property manager was very easy to work with and get ahold of if we had any questions. We will stay here again if we come back to the area.

Adorable house with room for everyone. Walking distance to downtown Rapids City. Didn’t make us clean the whole house before having to leave. Although we didn’t have much to clean. I give this stay 10/10.

Charming 100 year old house with perfectly executed updates make this a wonderful place to unwind after busy days in the Black Hills. Location is quiet, across from a small commercial development with very little traffic. Walkable to downtown Rapid City and a 5 min drive to Safeway (they deliver if you’re an Instacart subscriber). Easy parking in the driveway or street. Quiet neighbors - residents on one side and VRBO on the other. 2 main floor bedrooms and a full bath as well as 2 bedrooms and a full bath in the basement. Main floor rooms are cooled with window AC units but they are powerful and a nice white noise to sleep with. All rooms also have ceiling fans. Basement was a bit stuffy and humid in the crazy summer heat but our young kids didn’t seem to mind and the owners worked hard to remedy with fans and dehumidifiers. There are both front and back porches, we didn’t use the backyard at all due to heat and summer bugs. We stayed for 3 lovely nights and would return again. We fell in love with South Dakota.

We had a great stay in Rapid City and this house was perfect for our family. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved sitting out on the front porch on the hanging swing. The neighborhood felt safe and we had no concerns. Parking was a non-issue as there is space in the driveway and on the street. It was a bit of a walk to get anywhere, but the downtown was nice to stroll around. Rapid City is certainly visitor friendly. I wish we had learned the bus routes because it would have been an easy way to get around. The people at the bus depot were lovely and helpful, but we didn't find then until our second to last day. The owners of the property were very friendly and quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had. While we likely wont be returning to Rapid City again, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this rental.

The home was perfect. It is in a great location and can walk to rapid city. Also with in an easy drive to all the attractions. The owners were great and responded quickly to any and all questions.

The home is beautiful and immaculate. The kitchen has everything one could need for a several day stay. Lots of great restaurants and sights in walking distance, and an easy drive to many places in the Black Hills. Our three generation group had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome. Host was very accommodating, she answered text or message in a timely fashion. Property was in absolute pristine condition upon our arrival. I don’t think we’ve could of found a better place for my siblings and I to stay while we’re vacationing in Rapid City. Can’t thank Tara and Chad enough. When we return to Rapid city I’m definitely staying at the same property. Thanks again for a great stay.

Loved that we could walk to downtown!

Charming bungalow within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Owner was extremely responsive to our questions. Will definitely stay again in our next visit to Rapid!

House was perfect for our stay. Main floor bedrooms for elders in our group. House is beautifully done. The front porch became the spot to hang out which was wonderful. No surprises. Property manager was very responsive with questions before arriving. It was overall a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.

We came into town to watch a family member play his spring football game; great location and accommodations

Great place. Close to downtown. 1/2 mile at most, so easy walk or drive. Nice rooms. Plenty of room for family of four. Spent a lot of time in the house due to snow storm, and that wasn't an issue. And owners had plenty of extra tp,paper towels, laundry detergent. Just something small that sets them apart from most other places we've stayed. Would stay there again.

This place was in a perfect location, close to all the shopping and downtown. The house itself was so charming, and the decor inside was so cute and homey. The beds were super comfortable. 10/10, would stay again! Also, the hosts were super friendly during our stay. Just wonderful, all the way around!
