Anna was great - The host communicated by text, making it highly efficient. My lock code was provided before the arrival date. This place is very unique. The font area has large windows and a seating area that allows escape from the room, which was already decorated nicely with a private bathroom. I personally loved not having a window in my sleeping room. The small refrigerator in my room and snacks in the back were a nice touch. The place has three rooms, so it stays quiet. one of the nearby restaurants was amazing. Anna answered all my questions whenever I asked.

Some have commented on the sleeping room not having windows, but that is just part of being in a historic downtown building. Personally, I preferred it.

The Bluebird is beautiful! The decor is charming and the bed is comfortable. The bath features a beautifully tiled walk-in shower and is a nice size. Snacks are provided in-room. There is a large store-front living area that is shared with the other occupants, but there are only three rooms so that is very adequate.

There is no window in the bedroom. That makes the room feel very small and we felt somewhat claustrophobic.

The rooms were beautiful as was the whole place. We loved it and would recommend to anyone. Great communication.

Quaint. So glad i found this little gem. A very comfortable and interesting concept for an Inn downtown Elk City, minutes away from the freeway. Great place for a rural area. Very quiet and cozy. I would definitely stay again. There is plenty of street parking. There's no on site staff but the owners are super available by text or telephone for any questions or concerns (or just read the signs). There's a binder in the room that explains it all. Local businesses are supported and promoted which is great, I didn't have to look up places for breakfast, shopping, etc. Very helpful. There's even (what I call) cobblestone streets.

Nothing. I was a little uncomfortable with street parking, but the local police make their rounds, AND the street was empty except for a few parked cars. No worries at all! Slept better than a baby. I will definitely be back.
