Great location next to a small trail and a nice garden.

Light was too cold and one was not working. No lamps next to the bed. Doors need some oil and in general I had the feeling that we got one of the "worst" rooms - it just feld uncomfortable and dark in there. The other houses looked nicer trough the window at least.

The bungalows were exactly what we were looking for, private, quaint, and a spectacular porch view of the Volcano. The Rate was great. Breakfast was Perfect, and Included. They also had a nice little trail to hike. I recommend taking a picture of the map before going:). Plus the property was close to everything.. Would go back for sure!

The room was clean and pretty big (also bathroom). The beds were also very comfy. The view of the room window was amazing! the hotel is locatd a little bit outside La Fortuna, but perfec for reaching it and all other activties around. Would recommend and would stay again.

The fridge had a weird smell, probably someone left some old fruits in it ( was cleaned before we arrived). It was not very disturbing since we did not really use the fridge.

Location was perfect, close to the most interesting spots in la fortuna. Parking was good, very close to the house. Decent breakfast. Beautiful and green property, there was also a trail that we didn't manage to add to our schedule. Spacious and cozy rooms. Very good value for money.

great location and value for area. Large bungalow but a bit outdated. AC isn’t great and bathroom could use updating. breakfast is just ok, about what you get at a Holiday Inn or Courtyard. staff is very friendly though.

The room is large, clean, spacious, and temperature controlled. The bathroom was better than expected, and the breakfast was great--lots to choose from. Each room faces the Volcán Arenal so they've got gorgeous views!

I wish the room was supplied with more body wash/soap.

Great location, clean comfortable rooms, single room cabins so your not sharing a wall with neighbors, Brian at reception is extremely helpful and speaks great English.

Our experience at Campo Verde was fantastic. We wish we stayed longer! Location was nice and quiet and rooms were comfortable. The view of the volcano and the jungle surrounding it was the best part. Waking up to sit on the porch and watch the hummingbirds and take in the beauty of the area was surreal! The property has a hike in the jungle as well that we did one morning (~1hr walk). A bit more rough of a trail compared to what can be found in the National Park, but still a lot of birds and wildlife to see. Breakfast was a continental style buffet breakfast, with some North American and Costa Rican items that we found was fairly good.

The trade off of being in a more remote, quiet spot is that the location is a bit further out from La Fortuna and where most of the good restaurants are. The surrounding area does have some restaurants, but we found that they were lower quality and a bit more money. For us this was not an issue, but if you do not have a car, or are looking the hustle and bustle of the town, it may be.

Everything was exellent.

Location was great - quiet area between Tobacon and La Fortuna in Arenal, so it was not in the busy touristy part but still close enough to all the activities. Loved that we had our own standalone “cabin” where we can go in and out to the gardens. Brian at the front desk was super helpful - he went out of the way to translate for me when I had to call veterinarians around Costa Rica, and made a lot of great recommendations of things to do not just in Arenal area

Great views, cool hiking trail on the property. Rooms were nice. Cottage feel was great and they felt very private.

No washcloths provided. Only tiny, skimpy bars of soap that crumbled on first use were provided. Shower water was inconsistent ... hot got very hot then cold then hot ... not great. Bathroom was pretty dated.

Location, facilities well cared, gardens.
