Not enough cups, kettle leaked causing electric to trip first night

Location was brilliant close to all the shops beach and town centre perfect for a family holiday we got charged and extra £30pp to enter into the show bar and swimming witch worked out quite expensive for 7 of us and we kept getting power cuts and cold water

I love how quite it where we stayed and there was a lovely walk in to the town i definitely would book it again

We have stayed in a lot of caravans and can assure you this was the worst. First of all we were required to send over a lot of information to an external holiday provider prior to arriving, it becomes very evident you have got to bring absolutely everything with you! They don’t even provide a courteous toilet roll (literally costs pence even if it’s the cheap stuff it’s a welcome basic!) Bedrooms are basic, no side lights and curtains barely fit the windows. It says it’s dog friendly, from the off set communication it’s clear it’s not (funnily enough once you’ve paid), there’s an extra charge (£30 per dog) and they only allow 1 dog (does not state this when you book). We left ours at home with family and wish we’d stayed with them. The caravan was initially clean to they eye but was definitely not. All the pots in the cupboards were wet through, hairs in the shower, cups were cracked, there is stains all over the seating and there was questionable body fluids on the single bedroom walls. The duvets in the single room were ripped and again had what looked like dry blood on one of them. At this point we decided to make it work and use the cleaner rooms. All 4 of us had a terrible nights sleep, my husband ended up sleeping on the sofa with a blanket we ended up buying. Beds are not comfortable plus there is the biggest overgrown tree/plant on the side of the caravan which constantly slams onto the window even during the none windiest of weather. Finally to top things off, The owners of the caravan next door are unfriendly, loud and cruel to animals. We had to endure over 2 hours of 2 small dogs barking/crying as they had been tied up under the caravan whilst the owners were cleaning it. They were non approachable and had the attitude that they owned the caravan site. I messaged the caravan external provider and tried to explain to Southview but nothing was done. See photos (It is clear the dogs are tied up there regularly.

Quite area. Loads to do on site. The ponds,ducks and wildlife were amazing. Having 2 toilets was spot easier.

The fact you had to pay extra to see the entertainment. The bus that comes in on site is very long journey to Skegness itself.

Great location, caravan is clean and looked after, few minutes away from amenities also the promenade.

beautiful property, set in a nice quiet location away from the hussle and bussle. regular visits from a family of hares which my daughter loved. although we could hear the club hour well into the night it wasn’t ridiculously loud due to the location of the caravan. lovely and spacious. clean and well maintained. easy to access and no queuing up for reception for your key was a massive bonus when travelling with an impatient toddler that’s been sat in a car for 2 and a half hours. A* property. would love to come back to this caravan again.

although we had to bring our own bed linen which is fine, there was long hairs on the mattresses left from previous tenants, not the owners fault. we found one of the single beds nearest to the window to have a broken slat but again not the owners fault and down to a previous tenant. patio area could do with the bushes being cut back and the stingers removed but other than that a perfect property which made for a perfect holiday.
