We spent two weeks in Cas Mut. The bedrooms are comfortable and the ones upstairs have welcome air conditioning and the downstairs bedroom has an efficient fan. The kitchen is very small but this is not a problem in summer as there is an excellent outdoor kitchen with built in barbecue, a gas hob and a sink. There are many shaded areas so it is always possible to find somewhere to sit out of the hot sun. The whole family (12-82 years) enjoyed the pool and relaxing outside. The only reason I did not give Cas Mut five stars is that the plumbing, particularly in the upstairs bathroom, needs updating. We also loved Búger and the surrounding towns. Staying in this area gives an experience of authentic Mallorca very different from the tourist hotspots. Our top tip would be dining under the stars at Cas Rector in Buger where you will have simple but excellent food at the heart of the village. However being in the middle all parts of the island are no more than an hour away.

Pros: Location and swimming pool Cons: - No prior notification that we had to pay for electricity at the end of the stay. Plus certain lights, you don't have the option to turn off at night, ie the swimming pool or drive way. - we had to bring all recycling to the amenity site a few kilometres away, but with restricted opening times this was difficult as we had travel plans. - refrigerator didn't work properly and we had quite a bit of food that was wasted throughout the stay - lights in some bedrooms did not work - balcony doors did not lock properly, but we had small children and it was a big issue for us. - ants everywhere (I know it's rural area and expected some) but the kitchen was over run constantly. - No locks on bathroom /WC doors, if you are offering such a big villa, it may not always be one family staying.
