There was nothing to dislike

The staff were very nice and helpful; breakfast was delicious and in a bright room; room and bathroom were fairly large; great location to walk many places; entire property seemed very clean; front garden area with seating was very nice since the weather was nice at the time.

This is supposed to be a small boutique hotel, which it is not decorated as such; my room wasn't even on their site; the door had to be shoved to open over carpet; shower stall very narrow; two different bases under the bed; lacking decor for being boutique

A very well appointed and presented small hotel . Good sized rooms and en-suite facilities. The manager was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. The choice, value and quality of the evening meals and breakfasts were excellent. The overall service was exemplary.

We loved everything about this boutique hotel. The staff were wonderful… very professional, friendly and helpful. The region is full of history and we’d go back in a heartbeat. We would recommend anyone to stay at The Parklands Hotel in it’s beautiful settings.,

Good central location with parking. Easy walking into city centre. Although on a busy road room was nice and quiet.

Although heating was on room was quite cold. A portable fan heater was provided.

Good location for the train, pleasant surroundings

The location is very convenient for access to the city and close to the railway station. The food is very good. The staff is very friendly and approachable.

The Receptionist was really really friendly and the breakfast amazing. Only problem was that the breakfast room was quit chilly.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. The hotel was central with a lovely view of the South Inch.

The hotel should either commit to being pet friendly or not take pets. I felt very awkward as a guest as I felt my pets were unwanted guests, despite my very best efforts to ensure they were managed well in the bedroom and the hotel.

A lovely older style hotel Loved the classic large bedroom with tall ceilings. The room was warmed with wall heaters The bath room was recently renovated. The room was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the dining room with attentive staff. The hotel is located centrally with the street shopping an easy walk.

We really couldn't pick fault. Great value for money Recommend it.
