We booked this property April 2024 for an August 2024 trip.Upon making the final payment, a few days before its due date, Nicole informed us that we also had to pay a resort fee to Casa de Campo ($3,000 bc of party size). This was not stated anywhere in the listing. When she told us, we looked & confirmed it was not there. Nicole said we were wrong, that it was in listing. After we told her, she sneakily went into listing and changed it so it now appeared and she wouldn’t be liable for not informing us. We have evidence of her changing the listing. In addition, the house had rats in the kitchen & pantry. We have a video of this. In fact, there is another review of this property noting the same. We informed Nicole, of this via whatsapp. She never replied nor apologized. Coincidentally, 7 guests encountered extreme cases of upset stomachs & diarrhea. We all ate the same foods, but not everyone got sick. Possibly food contamination from the rats. Moreover, the property would lose electricity every evening for about 40 minutes. We were the only house in the area to lose power. The house staff mentioned that this is a frequent problem of this property & that Nicole is aware. We also wrote to Nicole about this, & again no response. The house staff was superb. Very hospitable & accommodating. The food prepared was excellent. In all the years we have rented in Casa de Campo, we have never encountered such a dishonest & irresponsible property manager.

1) Villa is not as close to the beach as stated on the VRBO site. Definitely not within walking distance. 2) Villa is in need of repair and overdue maintenance. 3) The outdoor kitchen needs work, not all appliances are in working condition. 4) The Villa needs improved “pest control” service to control rodents, mosquitos etc… On a positive note, the staff assigned to the Villa did an excellent job keeping the Villa tidy , organizing and preparing meals etc… On a positive note, the staff assigned to the Villa

The house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and great for big groups. The rooms are big with great closet space and big bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The swimming pool and the jacuzzi are just perfect, it has a big sitting area by the pool perfect to be by the pool outside with ceiling fans. The gardens and trees surrounding the house are beautifully maintained. The master bedroom and master bathroom are incredible, it has an amazing private outside shower and a small jacuzzi just like your own private spa. Nicole is an amazing host, she is always there to answer your questions, is very attentive, and detail oriented. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us everything around the house. Definitely she one of the best hosts we've had.

We had a wonderful stay at this house over the Easter week. There were fourteen of us, with ages ranging from 6 to 80. This house was perfect, great pool, plenty of room and centrally located to both the marina and the beach. As great as the house was, Adrian and the rest of the staff were amazing. From working with us on meals, grocery shopping, collaborating on great the right menu. I can't say enough about how great they were. We will definitely visit casa de campo again and this house is the perfect location to experience everything it has to offer.

We had a short stay at this incredible house. It had everything you could possibly need or dream of. The butler, maid and chef were really attentive and helpful. Loved walking from the bedrooms to the pool patio area. We enjoyed the hot tub at night while looking at the stars. I would definitely book this house again!
