On the beach; close to shops; great watching fireworks from balcony

Unit we rented was Very pricing/expensive; no washcloths and only 4 bath towels provided; TV did not allow for watching news or local programs

A lovely condo in a beautiful spot, with a great balcony overlooking the beach. Appreciated the free off-street parking too!

The apartment feels like you've just moved in, but not all your stuff is there yet. Missing some basics: bathroom towel hooks, bedside tables, cooking utensils, etc. It was also annoying to have to meet the owner in person to get all the instructions about entering the building and apartment, not to mention being escorted into and through the apartment when we arrived. We were exhausted and just wanted to settle in. Mohammed was very nice, and responsive, but I prefer to have less contact when I stay somewhere. The instructions about the property were handwritten on the back of a manila file folder, and some of it was hard to read. Wouldn't be too hard to type it up (maybe with a welcome message) and laminate it for ease of use. Somewhere in this listing, it also says we owed a $200 deposit in cash upon arrival, for the gate opener and parking pass. This was not clear, and we didn't have cash, which made things a little awkward. Venmo worked, so it was fine, but I didn't appreciate such consequential information embedded in tiny print somewhere in the listing/contract.

The property is in a prime location. Getting to the beach couldn’t be easier, just cross the street and you are there. You. An find plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. My husband and I were able to watch the sun rise right from the balcony, and it was majestic. The host is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back.
